Not sure if this is gripe or maybe just lol of the day...

Today, my class ran a bit late, so I was still cleaning the blackboards when students from the next class started arriving. I had my back to the room and some guy yells out "Can you stay and teach us? You look way better", followed by a hearty round of "hurr hurr hurr"'s from the others

. At least my own students are fucking terrified of me - it was a pretty icky feeling being made to feel like a piece of meat in front of a classroom of big, burly guys (turns out that's the calculus course for the fire protection program.)

(It should be noted that their lecturer is an odd little Ukrainian man, so "look way better" just means "girl".)

Received incorrect item in postage - NBA singlet with wrong player.

Emailed the store on Feb 16th (still no response)

Called store Feb 22nd and the lady said 'my request' was under review and that a manager will make a decision and she'd call me back.

Receive phone call Feb 23rd (this morning) and that the manager needs to confirm with HER manager whether or not to proceed with the exchange for the correct item I ordered, so I shall receive a call from them this time tomorrow.

I lol'd and hung up.

Is it just me or do the Cleveland Cavaliers need some help with their corporate structure? zomg

a few times after a bit of a brutal vom the capillaries around my eyes (eyelids, under eyebrows and under my eyes) have burst. looks farking ROUGH, but dies down in a few days. freaked out the first time it happed though.

yeah i get that too! little red dots under my eyes, looks weird as but generally gone by later in the day or next day

A chick at work choked really badly, went blue and everything, finally they got out the food from her throat but the pressure of choking burst the vessels in her eyes, and no kidding for weeks, and i mean WEEKS her eyes were red. was well creepy and crazy to look at.

gripe to being yelled at by my boss on Friday arvo and ending in tears and not wanting to do much all weekend cos i was feeling like shit. small bigups to chatting with him this arvo and sorting some stuff out

major gripe to fuckin shit that happens to good people - my bud at work is pregnant and bled out in the bathroom today. holding back the tears and the fear that she has lost her baby. she has already had a few miscarriages so the fear is high among all but we are trying to stay positive. i've never seen that much blood before, i almost broke down crying seeing it. sending much love to ya my darling
