All that spider talk made me remember that i'm stuck at home, unable to walk properly after getting bitten by a spider. Not sure it was a white tailed but Doctor seemed to think so. Puffed up and very punk cankle.

GsOTD: I have managed to waste the entire long weekend sitting at home doing nothing. No mates (see below.) I do have work I could (should) have been doing, but I haven't touched it. Ugh, doing nothing begets doing nothing :?

Shitcunt 'mates.' If I send you a text to see if you want to catch up, at least fucken reply with no. (1) No-one is too busy to manage that; and (2) you are DEFINITELY not too busy to manage that if you are taking some fucken typing speed quiz on CrapBook :x

Finally, being back in Oklafuckinghoma... fucking hell, this place is a dump. Now that I have officially decided that I will not renew here no matter how jobless/homeless it will make me (yay!), I can't even pretend to not hate it. Seriously, even the people who like it here list "people leave you alone" as its major selling point. GTFO

gripe to rude bitchy cliquey(sp?) people i work with. Generally they are lovely, but sometimes they can be really bitchy, which is weird cos they are all well nerdy and would have been total nerd group at school and should know not to do that to others. weird. silly nerds

actually people who were bullied or ostracised, or picked on at school tend to develop quite a vicious bite as they learn it as a defense mechanism.

I did, I can be a complete asshole when I want to (and sometimes when I don't) and I learnt all that in high school.

Went out to see Deekline last night and now I are hungover. Haven't been in this much drunkst for ages.

Also, there is this strange thing that happens when awesome DJs play here. We get 3-4 incredible internationals play each week, and shit is super cheap ($5 entry), but then the headliners have to play to a crowd of gurning 19 year olds who don't know and don't care who the fuck Parker or Stantons or Ill Gates are, so the sets they play are all peppered with feel-good party choons and ministry of sound anthems.

Weird.

On the plus side, just lit a roaring fire and it's snowing outside.
I wanted to be a hero. I wanted to be the center of attention. I wanted the glory, I wanted the fame. I wanted the pretty girls to come up and say, "Hi, I see that you're good at Centipede."

my dad's heart stopped 4 times last night, lucky for him (and us) he has a mini defibralator in his heart so if it stops it shocks his heart to start again.

he's 65 had two triple bypass op's, 3 real heart attacks and a stroke from all of which he recoverd fine. he runs the whole SES rescue unit up at Coff's in NSW which is fine but someone put an idea into his head that he needed to do a "test swim" and thats when it all went pear shaped.

wish he would just chill out and relax like other 65 year olds. i seriously have no idea what i would do without him the thought makes me sick.

That sucks bro, sorry to hear. Your old man sounds tough as nails, but I know what you mean about chilling out. Doesn't matter how hard you are, you don't stay young forever. Anyway, much love out to you and fam.

Well at least big the fuck up this bit :kooislayer.:

Mebbe you need to be a bit sneakier? Find him some more chilled things to do that would actually hold his interest. Dunno - car restoration, fishing, brewing ;). I would have a really hard time of letting go of things that were 'bad for me,' but if I actually got into something else, maybe the shift would just occur naturally...? Either way, :brohugs: to the Fents crew.

CIA - welcome to North America :?. That is how I've felt about pretty much every gig I've been to here. The demographic of the crowd does change according to city, but the no idea-ness and general theme of retardation seem to reign supreme. I find San Francisco the most puzzling: they are well into their parties, but still have no clue at all. In fact, going out seems to be simply a vehicle for dressing up and strutting about (but in 'alternative' clothes, so that's okay.) They don't even really dance to the music - they'd prolly be just as happy with a metronome :tard:. I find myself peering about fruitlessly for chins getting stroked inside hoodies :(

Unfortunately, this just means I've given up on going to gigs here (when you gotta fly somewhere, you want the fucken thing to be proper good!) Oh, speaking of which, lemme know if you guys have NYC dates yet - flights just got cheap :D

Construction outside my window.

Can't concentrate on work and the house keeps shaking like a freaking earthquake
:smt088

also, Bought 2 chocolate stout beers that were a little expensive and were looking mega forward to them but they tasted like arse (chocolate arse)

also the Prahan fuckwit I met on sat night, nearly ruined a perfectly good afternoon of drinking.

also The piggy little dude in the ramen shop who told me he wanted to kill me and that I should stop looking down on him (when All I was doing was quietly eating my ramen). He even tried to biff me!

Apart from that life is sweet ha ha!!

He told the shop staff that he wanted to kill him too, and was asking where his ramen was (after he had just finished it!)
