that doesn't sound correct. award intepretation is a funny thing, especially under a new system, so I would check the award and see if your interpretation matches your employers.
yeah, already checked it, penalties being phased in over next 5 financial years, reversing a previous increase to 1.75 on sundays, now getting 1.15 or something.

Glasses snapped in half this morning. Had an agonising minute of deciding whether or not to walk back across the city to get other pair (that DON'T match my outfit, travestY!) or taping them in the middle. I can't help but laugh at how difficult the decision actually was. :tard:

The dash home means that I haven't had morning coffee yet and I'm 'ruggling.

Ah well. Paltry gripe in the scheme, and on the upside, I can justify getting contacts this weekend!

same....

we've just implemented the most ugly and un-user friendly website application process I've ever seen.... fucking shits me to tears. Even after countless meetings with the IT department they still can't get it right. It looks like total shit, it's confusing, it's convoluted, it's pretty much the worst thing I've ever seen.

Even simple little things that could be done to fix glaringly obvious shitfulness are "too hard" and "not in the original scope of the project" and "not supported by current software" etc etc//// fucking bollocks, I could build a better web interface. I'm not sure why it has to directly interface with our back end (which makes it so confusing for a customer)... front end should be simple and straigt forward, but they've pretty much just copied the back end to the front and told us that that's the way it has to be blah blah....

DOING MY HEAD IN.... btw, this has already gone live :?

rubber gloves
i don't understand!!
my housemate uses them and then leaves them around the kitchen all dirty
it is just another thing that he doesnt clean now
it takes a minute to wash your hands, and you are going to do that afterwards anyway, so why waste time with gloves?
also they feel all icky when u wear them...

we has new modem at work. kev has scoured the universe, spent time in warehouses hunting this thing, paid loads of money, and it looks like a light aircraft.

we have been waiting 2 years for this piece of machinery.

it has flashing lights & whirly things.

however it is sending my emails, not receiving.

the internets. it needs to work both ways.

People who litter

Drives me fucking spare. I realise that for alot of people it's a cultural thing (ie- those from the subcontinent) but seriously, littering would have to be up there as one of the most backward, disrespectful and utterly dumb things one can partake in

A common scenario at the bottle o I work at......car pulls in and gets served. As soon as they've grabbed their stuff, plastic/paper comes off the smoke packet, top comes off the stubby, all of it gets chucked out the window in plain view of staff and other customers. I've been known to walk over, pick it all up and say "dropped something mate" while throwing it all back into the car through the window. Whenever I do this or politely point out to people that rubbish belongs in the bin (which incidentally is about two metres away from them), they appear vexed and quite angered, as if I'm the one doing something wrong

Um hello. If you want to walk the Earth til the end of your days leaving a trail of festering shit in your wake, fucked if I'm up for cleaning up after you

Blow up the world

Very tempted to just walk out.
