I've been leasing a PC and I'm about to hand it back to Flexirent

Once I've backed up all the files I wanna keep I need to completely wipe it so they don't discover my fetish for freaky giraffe pr0n

Can someone with some I.T skills tell me how to wipe it clean?

Basically, I wanna completely erase the hard drive and just leave the OS.

Re-install OS - safest and easiest.

you can wipe HDD from Bios.... then re-install OS

or you can use this...

http://killdisk.com apparently millitary grade data destruction
