I NEED HELP (yeh ok we know this but not the white coats style this time)

Finally gonna do something about my poor old speakers.
They have a problem, well one of them does anyway, after chatting with multiple people I'm thinking it's just a loose/crossed wire somewhere especially because they're been all over australia and even to fiji so alot of moving.
Want someone to have a look at them basically and then decide whether they are worth fixing I'd kinda prefer to have them fixed and pay the price for it they have massive sentimental value been needing to be looked at for a long long time but up until recently I didn't have a replacement pair to run and no music=bad. One of the speakers seems to have lost the treble it's very very bassy.

While we're at it, I have a cd jammed in one of my disc changers and need someone to look at that too the whole things been pulled apart already basically need someone who can dislodge the cd and garuntee the cd player will work again.

Another problem is I don't drive, getting a taxi somewhere doesn't worry me overly much as long as I'm not getting one from Macleod down to bloody frankston or something like that, not overly fussed about how much it's gonna cost me to get em done hell I'd pay extra's if they can dislodge the CD without breaking it (i really like the cd as well)
If it's for the disc changer I'd love someone who specialises in Harmon Kardon and for the speakers would love it to be a KEF specialist but anyone suitably good would be great.

FARK i can ramble on....sorry...

total recoil for speakers perhaps

I've taken out many a loose cd from a changer, its usually easy, just taking off the main casing and sliding it out. [disclaimer of some sort though]

Took off the main casing, after lots of swaring at my screwdriver, cd didn't want to drop out, it's wedged nice and proper in there, the thingy that holds the cd up in place just does NOT want to let it go.

I've done it previously with old CD changers I've had but yeah this one seems to be no good def don't want to break it cause it matches my amp and reduces the need to remote controls in the lounge room and I really really like the cd and it took me ages to find the cd lol.

Ok I'll stop being so bloody picky now but yeah stupid fucking thing, it resulted in alot of swaring and then some crying cause I had PMS on top of it.

not really feeling the type on any of those options
looks a bit placed on
also the option you chosen doesn't have much contrast for B&W application

got any font reccomendations?

and do you mean the washed our grey kind of look?
im thinking for business cards the sky will be silver foil in the end perhaps anyhow, so the black will need to be more defined for that...

id do the city bit as white/ transperant - the 'sk'y black and Ghetto Arts in white, so you get a kind of jagged bottom shape on it making it not look so clearly like a skyline.

more thinking when you print stuff out in black and white and the logo ends up looking a grey mess - or if you have to fax anything ever - still happens now and then - needs more contrast between city, background and text

nic - i kind of get you....

spiral - yes i otally agree, especially as often logos end up tiny on the bottom of posters etc etc

andy - ill get my designer to send me just the logo - not sure about the fonts either tbh

Second row – 3rd one across. Gets lost with all the other ones next to it – which is usually a sign it is most at peace with itself. I think it works the best. Maybe cause of the one line factor. Font does not look ‘placed’ works. Colours are best for me in this one too. Like that the circle is not consistent width the whole way round. Win. Think it is dope Bo.

I would consider having it in a white box. So that it is never dropped onto other colours without the box. It does not look as good on the black background. But it doesn't look bad. In fact it looks quite good.

Ah shiiiite.

Hello guys and ragdolls............
Would any person here have some ideas on how to reclaim moneys owing towards bills from former co tenants???
I am trying to work out what I need to take to small claims.. how and what part of breaking a contract (be it a verbal arrangement of sharing the costs and paying 4 ways) or what leg I have to stand on. I have outlined the above in a hand delivered letter to them with a breakdown of costs, due dates and how to pay, however althoguh they say they will pay and blah blah, they have avoided this for approximately 2 months.
I know that they are not the type that would go for Dispute Settlement via mediation, and it's about $1286 that I am out of pocket with debt collectors on my ass. motherfkkrz........
Also can I claim other things such as costs associated with resolving these issues with the companies and the stress that this has caused......
I am afraid that property damage and cutting their achilles is not a viable option as I have plenty of motive.... :(

Help..
I am never living with drunk gambling alcoholic pot head flea ridden ferrets again!!!!!!!!!

legally there isnt much you can do to my knowledge. this is why you should always put all tenants on the bills and leases.

however you could always get a friend who is physically capable to beat the crap out of them every day until they pay, and charge them interest in the meantime.

Uly - i just chatted to some of the lawyers and they suggested you don't really have much to work with, however, you could go to the Dispute Settlement Centre, however as you said - they dont sound like the type to really go for that. But its not a bad option if you can convince them to go along with it.

Your best bet really would be to go to a lawyer. Go to a Legal Services Clinic, or even Slater and Gordon. Ask to have a junior lawyer, just drafting a letter to them. On legal letterhead and the threat of Court action usually gets people moving.
