Almax, yes the umpiering was bad against both teams and yeah in towards the end Geelong had a better run however that does not detract from the fact that you guys lost it for yourselves.

You had plenty of oppertunity to run away with it in the 1st.
In the second we kicked 1 goal 7 and you guys didn't do anything about it
You were up by 4 goal at half time.
We kicked 5 more behinds than goals and still won.

In the end you lost it for yourselves, so i would stop focusing on the umpiers and accept it.

Can't believe I forgot to tip until sat nite. I only got 1 right too. I lose. Bad week. Sucks bout hawks, but them's the breaks. Al, we'll be right and we did throw away some good opps. Geelong had the legs, we didn't. We still got some big names coming in to the side still...hello sewell, burgouyne. Losing hooper hurt though. Meh!

Totally accepted it, we ran out of steam and big men, i was just stirring the pot hehe, but i just gotta answer some of these
kronz wrote: In the second we kicked 1 goal 7 and you guys didn't do anything about it
We kicked 3 goals 5 whats your point?
We kicked 5 more behinds than goals and still won.
We kicked as many behinds as goals, again, your point is mute, both teams missed easy shots on goal and if either team had been more accurate, that team would have won
In the end you lost it for yourselves, so i would stop focusing on the umpiers and accept it.
These were the telling stats imo:
Cats won the contested ball 142-115 but most importantly - clearances 44-24, we desperately need another ruck especially against teams like Geelong

Unconfirmed rumour**Jonathon Brown held a bbq for the players and partners tocelebrate Fev's 200th the day after the lost to Richmond. After a few frothies and a sausage each it's alleged Fevola put the word on one of players mrs (not sure who's) and shit has hit the fan. Brown then put the word on Fevola and they went toe to toe in Brown's back yard.

http://www.couriermail.com.au/sport/bre ... 5885891443

BRENDAN Fevola has been ruled out of Thursday night's clash with Carlton and could face an extended period on the sidelines after suffering a major setback with his abdominal injury.
It caps off a dramatic week for Fevola and the club and is sure to spark a fresh round of conspiracy theories about his absence being for disciplinary reasons or poor form - especially given the Lions have not been up front about the nature of his latest injury.

The controversial recruit has been the subject of several wild rumours this week, none of which appear to be accurate. An email has swept through football circles while text messages have run hot, claiming Fevola has fallen out with the Lions over incidents at a barbecue.

In one version Fevola was accused of running amok at the barbecue at captain Jonathan Brown's home last week where he was alleged to have made innapropriate comments to a teammate's girlfriend.

It was claimed that Brown intervened sparking a stoush between the two men, but the club has strongly denied the rumour.

The Courier-Mail could not find a single legitimate source that confirmed the rumour and it is understood Fevola and Brown spent last week in Adelaide together receiving treatment from leading physio Steve Saunders.

The Lions are privately fuming at what they see as a deliberately malicious attempt to destabilise the club and have attempted to get to the bottom of who created the email.

Brisbane coach Michael Voss declared no player was immune from being dropped after the Lions' shock loss to Richmond last round.

His comments led to speculation Fevola, who was terribly out of sorts in that game, would be dropped.

But The Courier-Mail has been told the Coleman Medallist was the victim of a painkilling injection that went wrong and robbed him of all feeling in his foot.

That would explain some uncharacteristic kicking blunders from the sharpshooter.

The AFL's decision to schedule Fevola's first Melbourne clash against his old side on a Thursday night to maximise the national television audience has backfired.

Lions midfielder Tom Rockcliff, 21, was nominated for the AFL Rising Star award yesterday following 26 disposals against Richmond.

big call.

Brisvegas would be glad to get rid of him i think.

what are the chances he would end up at a GC17 or TeamGWS instead of the Flogpies?

from bigfooty.com

Apparently with all the other 'rumored' crap going on with Fev up there, Brisbane have decided to trade Fev to where he wanted to go in the first place, Collingwood, but this wont take place till the end of the year.

But seriously, the source is Hughsey, so take that with the most giant grain of salt you've ever seen in your life.

well played Fents - who is your source?

Anyone know how I can download AFL games, like torrents? Some sites have some games, but are there some private sites where they have more games? Would love to download west coasts win over Essendon where LeCras kicked 12 goals...

I am not sure we want to make it. Don't want to the Essendon of this year next year. Then agian, finals experience is finals experience...
Have to win 4 of the 5. Only the 1 top 8 team in that lot... and North.

6 games clear and only three rounds to go we all just have to hope that spies-dog forgets to tip or gets ruled out by the tribunal for some kind of off field incident this week. :kooislayer.:
