the Harley Shop in frankston are good.... but they only do either tigers, dragons, or hearts with knives through them. Ask for anything else and they get uncomfortable, think you are gay and comit hate crimes on yo ass.
What u gonna get Lil Msbrkz? I was thinkin of getting one.
my mate has a tatto of a stick figure on his foot, hah idiot.
you're not getting a stick figure on your foot are you? sorry if you are..

A girl called Zara(sp?)
Without a shadow of a doubt the finest tattooist in Melbourne. She has done quite a few of my mates full back and sleeves and is absolutely amazing in the extreme. She gets results on skin that most top artists couldn't even dream of achieving on paper.
Last time I heard she was at Gertrude St but that was a few years back and has prolly moved since.
The only downside is it usually takes a good two or three months to get an appointment with her.

Chapel Tattoos or Tattoo Magic (Gertrude St)
Sam - the best artists at these places are always booked up to 3 months in advance. But if you go to either shops you'll be rest assured quality

either chapel tattoo or dynamic on sawn st. thats also where sara works these days. she is rad but you'll need to book a good month or so in advance. but all the other guys there have skills as well.
if its a portrait style design though then wait for sara, when it comes to them she has everyone beat.
if you go to chapel try and get andrew, especially if its old school style. again with him you'll probs have to book a few weeks in advance.
dont bother with tattoo magic on gertrude. overrated, overpriced and not really all that good.
New Hampshire's alright if you like fighting.

Hey Sammy
Cannot recommend the guys and chicks at Chapel Tattoo enough- have had both mine done there and have also taken friends along. Impressive work.
Super profesh and fussy about how it's gonna look. Andrew took about an hour to line up my script on my shoulder- just was not totally happy with it.
When I was there a few months ago, they were in the process of moving but phone number should be the same: 9521 1202
Looking at up to 3 month wait- they worth the wait tho...

never been to capel, but down to earth tattoos on Keilor road are great. Me and Ivan (and a heap of other people) have been there. Although the best guy, Adam, has noe set up his own practise at home

a lady i work with, her brother in law is the guy that runs that shop. she's in the process of getting her whole back done by him - massive dragon, clouds, mountains, lotus flowers, river... looks fucking awesome!
he takes his time, plenty o shading, makes sure it drapes correctly over your skin so it sits nicely
it's making me itchy to go get something done
if only i wasn't so indecisive

Nice idea, but then I would have to cope with you trying to go down on my forehead whenever I come over to visit. That just would not do.
However, it might be worth it if you go one step further and get coral implants on your forehead in the shape of a dick and balls.

Said it before and say it again.. Andrew at Chapel St Tatts is the bomb. Mad designs and the cleanest most professioanl work.
I constantly have people comment on the clean lines of the one on my shoulder and it shows that he took his time doing it.
My scripture is pretty small but has not bled at all- looks like it's was done with a fine line marker.

Yep, he did one of mine too and it is definately my best! Same as you Gnat, really fine lines and great detail.
