OK here is the update.

Darkbeat is proud to present Klaus "Heavyweight" Hill (UK), on Sunday March 13 (Labour Day Eve)!

We will be celebrating our second birthday at Room680, and due to the cancellation of Koma & Bones' Australian tour Klaus Hill will have the guest duties on the night!

No stranger to main room breaks Klaus' reputation is as solid as his skills as not only a producer but a dominating DJ as well. He has released on the worlds best breaks labels including Botchit, MOB, TCR and Distinctive as himself and as one half of renowned production outfit 2Sinners.
Darkbeat will be hosting Klaus Heavyweight Hill with support from 15 local acts:

DJ Promo (UK), Stuart McKeown (Ire), Rollin Connection, Scott Feigan, Scotrod / MC Direkt, Matt Hofman, Luke Simpson, Heath Myers, Max Keonig, Myke Ireland, Rowie, and Laim McMann.

Join us on Labor Day eve - Sunday March 13th - for a night of main room breaks with Klaus Heavyweight Hill (UK). Side room action is also catered for with more Grandma House than you can poke a gravy boat at.

Support over two rooms comes from the Darkbeat residents and a handpicked smorgasbord of Melbourne's favourite locals as well as some additional international jocks.

Due to circumstances beyond our control - Koma and Bones' booking agent has cancelled their Australian Tour. They will not be appearing at any of the planned dates in Australia - which of course affects our 2nd birthday.

Being so close to the event - there was absolutely nothing we could do to rectify loosing this act - and for this we apologise.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Chris Mitchell for his tireless efforts that were far beyond the call of duty to assist us in trying to get around the problems Koma & Bones' booking agents placed upon all not only ourselves but all the Australian dates and promoters involved with them.

This in no way effects Darkbeat's 2nd birthday lineup - WE WILL HAVE MORE ADDITIOANL DETAILS SOON!!

We have been overwhelmed by the response thus far and overall support we have received for this event all round. We plan to host the best intimate night in Melbourne come Labour Day Eve - the night will still be alive and kicking harder than ever.

Thank-you to everybody who has supported us and our sound over the last 2 years - Hope to see you at Darkbeat!
