I am really struggling to find a pair of shoes that I like. I've been to about 20 places in the past month and haven't really even come close.
I'm looking for something reasonably chunky (like a skate shoe) to mask the length of my feet. I'm after something in some sort of material that isn't vinyl or similar shiny plasticy stuff in some fairly boring colours like dark blue/grey/tan. any ideas?
i think i must have the most uncool feet in the world =(
These sneakers come from the wonderful No Sweat company in the US. All their clothing and footwear is sourced from factories who have full trade union recognition.
Made in Indonesia, the box contains full details on the wages and conditions enjoyed by the workers making these shoes. The sneakers have canvas uppers and rubber soles.

i work in a sweatshop. i earn $4 a week and occasionally i'm allowed access to a computer to post on melbournebeats. my owner says that if i don't constantly post intelligible gibberish he will burn my feet!
seriously though, sweatshops are bad and exploitation of children is fuckin fucked.

If there were not any sweat shops, all the employees would have to be paid hi wages and a pair of Nikes would cost you about $3000!!

They could cut advertising costs to counter the higher wages. Or just reduce their over all profit margin. Those senakers are $64 on the net or $80 round melbourne. pretty reasonable considering they're nto sweat shop products.

The rubber plant was surprised. If the rubber plant could have spoken, it wouldn't have said anything. That's how surprised the rubber plant was.

Ive gone Jordan crazy this year, due to IVs, Vs and VIIs being some of my favourite kicks of all time. Got the black IVs, the white IVs, the Mars Backmon IVs, the cardinal VIIs, the flint VIIs, the chambray VIIs, and the new blue and black Vs (my faves) all in the space of 3 months or so. Plus the military blue IVs are out in 3 weeks as well as 3 other colourways of Vs.
I cant wait til they get over doing the 2-7 retros, then I can stop buying them as it all went pair shaped after that IMO... But for now, Im destined to spend way too much money on Js..
