could be as simple as a dry joint.

could be as fucked as the whole output stage.

answer= ian at sond developments (back of warehouse sound)

he wont be quick be he "usually" does the job.

Worst problem ever.

Have you tried connecting everything to the same power point,...including the computer you using to record?

That fixed the problem for me.

or at least he will charge for the time to quote.

but if you want it repaired its the way to go.

just ask him to let you know if its going to be a big job or a small job once he gets it open. its its major (ie not worthwhile) at least you have the oppurtunity to take the fee for diagnosis on the chin and put the otherwise wasted money towards a rane or something.

but usually these things can be fairly simple. it in part depends on the supplier and parts. ive been waiting yonks for a repair from him, but its cos there is no supply of the part!

:lol: yeah ian won't give ya a quote- just tell him to not go any further with it if he takes a look and sees it's gonna end up being over 100 to fix :wink:
