FOR FUNK'S SAKE will once again be returning to Aura Lounge on Wednesday nights, commencing the 28th June.

Funk, Soul, Jazz, Hip- Hop, Breakbeat Grooves provided by Lindemon & Lindepenis. With regular guest DJ's, Musicians & Vocalists....

Upstairs plays host to their weekly poker night, where you too can be Ed Norton & Matt Damon in Rounders...... (Matt Damon :lol: ) - more details/register @ www.pubpoker.net.au

BYO Smoking jackets...
Drink specials, & of course it's FREE! (not incl. poker)

Ok, Lindemon has just called from Sydney saying that he is boarding a bus to head back to Melburn for this one and that unfortunately Noodles will not be joining him tommorrow nite...

However, I will be and that is cool as this will be my last spin in Melburn for 3 weeks as I'm off to Japan.

This nite will be all about classic breaks, latin boogaloo, blaxploitation and big bumps for your rumps :shock:

Kicks off at 8pm so if you are in town, thinking about coming in, close by or just love to support a new night, with little promo, on its quiet inception, we'd love your support!

Unfortunately, DJ NOODLES will not be able to make it, due to my stuff-up, come down & blame the DJ.....

It's a story I won't get into now, but let's just say...

& hence last night I caught the bus back from Sydney.....
(it sucked, till we stopped long enough for me to blaze 2 & hop back on da bus.... Hey OB.... what's that song, about that thing, by that band.... :wink: :wink:

A Funk/Soul Diva in the making, she's already well on her way, having worked with numerous groups across the country, including Downsyde.
So, I am honoured to have her vocal stylings complimenting a selection of Funk,Soul,Jazz,Hip-Hop,Breaks tunes, from the 'Loungey' to straight-up funk.

Lindepenis is barred.....

His last set @ The Get Down was shameful & almost got BOTH of us blacklisted.. So he's off the team.

He was a good concept DJ, but too hard to pull off...
Ya need, like, 20 moons to be aligned, or people to be so drunk they cannot differentiate between good & bad, so that stupid reigns supreme..
