That sort of animation has been done before with
Waking Life ... Still looks fckn cool tho. Richard Linklater is over rated. Tho the movie is rarly as good as the book...

waking life is one of my favorite movies...
a scanner darkly is part of the MIFF on now...
but im hoping its scheduled for mainstream release too..
so much on during MIFF, and you have to book and wait and que and plan,
not the best way for a psontaneous dose of culcha.

Awsome, this has all the makings of a unique movie

Yeh I'd rather buy it on DVD, to go to the movies just 1 ticket is half the price of a DVD and if you go with someone else it's the cost of a DVD.

So Scanner Darkly is showing at 3pm this Saturday and one other time during the festival.
I think I'm going to go check it out this weekend.

saw this last night, very impressed, all of the actors were great, especially Robert Downey Jr.... complete nutter. Hopefully it does the rounds on general release

my friend downloaded this and liked it so much he had to stop watching it after 20 minutes and is going to see it at the movies. a lot more twisted than waking life.

just about finished the book.
ive got such a scene imprinted in my head now im not too sure what i will think of the flick.
Robert Downey Jr. is a good choice for Barris tho i think.
