the Osteo I went to is the most highly recommended Osteo in Melbourne, but the pain would just come back after a day or two. (and he was $60 per visit)

I started going to a Chiro in Elsternwick that was also highly recommended and he only charged $90 per month and I could go as often as I liked (within reason), so I wouldn’t exactly call that a rip off. His name is Dr Duffy in Riddell Parade.

After one month of twice weekly visits my back is the best it’s ever been. I continued that for another month and now I only go about once every two months.

Going to the Chiro for 2 months = $180
Saying goodbye to back pain = Priceless

You know what really pisses me off?? :x

The little men who run around inside your computer and press random buttons to make it do random things every once in a while. They generally start off being well behaved but progressively get more and more mischievous as time goes on. And then just when you think they are being good again and you are safe from their woes (ie. 90% through a project without saving) WHAM, they gotcha. I swear I can almost make out their chuckles as I restart yet again. I wish they were better behaved like their mild mannered ancestors (the little men in the fridge who turn the light on.)

Oh well I think it is prolly time for a new machine... and this time I am setting rodent baits!

It was $80 for the first two times i went to my chiro and then he wanted to see me twice a week at $60 a pop! I just don't earn that kinda cash, well i do, but i ain't spending it on my back. I have a habit of ignoring these sort of things though...depending on amount of pain of course :P But anyways, cos i said to him that i can't afford it he started pressuring me and pushing me to come etc and i walked on out of there. I hate pushers...unless its drugs of course! :D :P :D

People coming up to you at gigs and saying anything along the lines of "why aren't you smiling?" "It's not that bad you know" "It's a party you should smile" GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR for farks sake! I don't need to smile every minute. Just cause I'm thinking about something and off in la la land doesn't mean I'm not happy and not enjoying myself. And even if I'm not enjoying myself, don't get in my face  Who knows, I might bite.

I get that all the time, but not when I'm out. People are used to me bouncing off the walls with some devilish cheeky grin on my face, so when I'm not they think I'm depressed or somethings wrong.

I understand Ani, I often get told I look like I'm angry (especially when dancing). Think it's something to do with letting out residual agression or something... People come up to me and say, "why do you look so angry"

When my dad was a kid he was on a farm, and there was this pet rabbit. He decided to pat it, and the thing bit his finger. To get vengance on the foul beast he decided to attach a string to its leg, spin it around a couple of times and let go at the right moment so the rabbit would land smack bang in the middle of some lake.....all this effort only to watch it swim to the opposite side of the lake  .

Solution: attach a brick

Yep, today was the first day I actually felt ok enough to get in a car (and even that was dodgy) to go see the doc. He was very nice and gave me all sorts of stuff.

My mum's a naturopath, so I've been getting concoctions and tonics plied down my throat for the past four days. Some of them worked really well. Liked yesterday when I woke up and I could barely open my eyes thanks to a splitting headache, she rubbed half a lime across my forehead and it eased almost immediately. She's brilliant :D

Now that I've got my mind back, it's the body aches that I hate so much. I don't like feeling so feeble :( At least I have my appetite back

Sorry to be so whingey about it, but I haven't been this sick in ages and ages.

Can't sleep.

Too sick to go out and enjoy myself.

Not sick enough to shut my eyes and actually drop off to lala land.

Bloody neighbours having deep and meaningful discussions in their backyard aided by mountains of Johnny Walker Blue.

One week it was church kiddies bouncing basketballs against my bedroom windows and walls. This week, the parents have decided that it is a good idea to push the monster bbq up next to my bedroom door (that goes outside). They are currently hooking up a new gas tank, so there is every possibility I will be blown up at some point :smt073 At least I won't have to write this stupid essay.

Oh dear... I smell gas

    So I asked them to move because I was getting smoked out and now I can hear them all fussing about
"I didn't know there was someone living in there"
"i thought it was a study room, or a spare room"
"i guess they must have moved in there"
"where will we put the bbq?"
"I guess on the step"
"but what about the wind?"
"someone lives in there now?"

Oh and listen to that... here comes the ambulance for the person having an actual fit (not about the bbq). No wonder i don't get anything done

Oh... and there goes the child with the pans *bang* *bang* *bang*

But it's ok now. I think most of them have left. Now I have no excuse not to do my essay.

Ani - the carpet always needs to be re-fluffed, the curtains washed and ironed or the fridge and cupboards cleaned and sorted. ;) always a reason to put off assignments...i've fallen victim to procastination bug once again...

as for the gripes, it's been a while, so here goes (in no particular order).
1) money and severe lack of it
2) potential employers never responding to applications
3) uni (love/hate relationship)
4) unemploment
5) did i mention lack of money?

i know there are heaps more...but i don't want to seem like miss cranky pants.
