I don't think I've ever been to Doncaster or Airport West. Which is closer to the CBD?

I'm thinking seriously about taking an hour off work on the day they open. Donut road trip stylee.

I wonder if they'll have drive through?

Doncaster seems like a long way away to get donuts.

You'd have to get extra for the trip back :D

Go Doncaster Lucas, straight down the Eastern Freeway and follow the signs! Might be worth calling their Info Desk first before you go, I believe they may not be open yet...

the d (doncaster, not detroit) is 10 mins from where i grew up - Krispy will kill it at Shoppo ... interesting choice considering Shoppingtown is pretty terrible as a shopping destination.

Doncaster is .. literally .. up the road from my joint (im in box hill). Pretty much if you went all the way up johnson st out of the city u would end up there.

Putting it in Doncaster Shoppingtown is a pretty good idea, but it'd probably draw a wider crowd in a more central location. The majority of people in shoppo are... for lack of a better term... idiots.

technically doncaster isn't far from collingwood/fitzroy at all ... max 10 min drive ... straight up the eastern freeway.

but it's still a hole - in terms of mass they could have picked far better locations to reach a stack of people ... if that's what they were after ... chadstone, highpoint, northland etc would get 2 to 3 times as many people as doncaster per week.

Tried some Fi brought back from Sydders and can't say I got Homer- excited about them.

Rather have a vanilla slice from that bomb cafe in Sorrento.

Krispy Kreme are over-rated very boring standard donuts made special by a thing we know as "hype"

i know a few US people that dont go near them. they're like the McDonalds of donuts

I have tried, I was unimpressed, I moved on
