munted chavs (er, bogans) smacking your drink into the middle of nowhere while brocking out and then spewing on your shoes, stopping only to deliver a 'GREAT NIGHT INNIT!!! GOT ANY CHARLIE' before moving on to the next victim?

bogans don't go to drum'n'bass gigs

I reckon they had shite-loads more than that at the Jeff Mills gig there back in 2004... it was RAMMED... totally insane.
hrm, i was working there then and i don't think they hit capacity. most gigs at metro actually don't hit capacity ... and the place at legal capacity is a tight squeeze ... most i saw was about 2,200 for the first Obese Block Party ... Cypress Hill early in 2004 (I think) did about 2,500 and the venue was fined ... so in reality (from my experience) most venues don't overcram as the repercussions are pretty nasty both in terms of safety and fines.

Lucky you - block party number 1:(
and how many toilets are in the place?.... hopefully they will bring in some port-a-loo s for the night!
2500 is a lot. Yikes
metro has a fair few bogs - nothing to worry about there.
Blcok Party Number 1 was cool but the highlight was the execessive damage the artists and their mates did to the backstage area - that was totally awesome!!!!
sure is! your back for some more madness too, and so soon after the last visit
going to be big
hope everyone's ready!
