The Photo Thread (Post yours here)
it's all about not quite making it to the end, but just making it far enough to faceplant into the surface at the other side.

Leica= the best glass ever made for cameras.got a beautiful old leica
I've had a thing for Leica cameras ever since I saw the Magnum exhibition where 90% of the photos were taken on the fantastic rangefinder Leicas.
The Leica/Panasonic thing is sub par though compared to the early glass.
Leica is German by the way Huge

thanks! I really don't take pics that often. I love my Holga but only really go through a film once every couple of months max.
One day i might get a real camera...

the Olympus you using seems to be pretty sweet (that's what the properties on the side are saying you are using). But for shizzle darl, your shots are rad! i'm up to page 40 or something right now

nah man, never tried to be honest. i don't think the fish selection over here is that great to be honest, lots of herring and stuff. also there are shitloads of lakes but not that many rivers, so i dunno how easy it is to go fishing. but who knows?Fents wrote:Yo Foo....ever go fishing over there? looks like you have the rad spot to fish just off your balcony...

nah, they don't do international vodcasts. so the only place you're allowed to download them, is the only place you can watch them on tv anyway. go figure. oh well, tvtorrents.com ftw.system wrote:Chaser vodcasts ftw.
here's the way back, in a case of extraordinarily fortunate timing (140km/h + slow sensor reading == profit):

Hi Carl, nah I just use the two basic settings of my flash either to highlight those in focus or light up the whole background.lynt wrote:mr lob wrote:cheers guys glad you like em
has taken me lots of trial and error to get my flash shots just right
but lovin what it does, not how much it cost me
Use use any Flash Exposure Compensation in those shots? Your EXIF data is missing / or / switched off.
As for the missing data, not quite sure about that. Could be that due to reducing the photo sizes in fireworks that the data is removed. The data is in the full res shots though.
Will look into my flash book and check it out though.
Now you're putting me on the spot and all
I seem to know how to get the effects that I want but not how they actually work
yeah just had a look at my camera and the user book and it says my camera supports Exif data but not quite sure how to turn it on.lynt wrote:Yeah, results are good. My guess is Fireworks is stripping the EXIF data.
yep fireworks is stripping the data sorry mate!
If I convert them in photoshop does that save the data?
Your camera will apply EXIF to every shot regardless. There shouldn't be a setting to turn it off, but you're on Nikon yeah? Don't know if that's true or not.mr lob wrote:yeah just had a look at my camera and the user book and it says my camera supports Exif data but not quite sure how to turn it on.lynt wrote:Yeah, results are good. Photoshop will preserve the EXIF data if you do a "Save-As" - NOT - "Export for Web".
