English Premier League

Post by Nick Thayer »

Liverpool are looking the goods!!
Though I do say that every season around this time...

El Nino Fernando Torres looks incredible - and now Sissoko is off the mark watch out!

Who goes for who then?

It is all about the Aston Villa.....

With a tidy win weekend jsut past, let hope we can keep gaining valuable points all through the season this year and not fall to poo in the middle.

I am kinda over being middle table fodder boys... Help a girl out......

Did not see the Liverpool match this weekend....

And yes Poo to Chelsea...... cept i will always have a soft spot for Zola, i love my monkey boy...

I have been a Liverpool fan since I was 4 or 5.
Not easy when you're born and bred in Norf London!

They haven't won the title since we moved to Australia in '89. That is as long as the Arse's lean streak in 72-89 I think...

Not as long as Villa's though ;-)

I managed to make it to the last ever Arsenal vs Liverpool at Highbury too. Awesome afternoon, except for the scoreline.

Hoping to make it to a game when I hit UK in Nov too...

Nick - yes yes we all know God was a baby the last time Villa won..

although i ded get to se the boys at Wembley of old in the FA Cup semi - which we won, i had to fly back to Vancouver so only got to watch Chelsea own us on the TV.

Here is a little tit-bit or is it tid-bit?

Zat Knight who was rejected by his boy-hood club Aston Villa, moved to Fulham for a transfer fee that the UKs Sunday Mirror reported to be 30 tracksuits!

There is an amusing little article in fourfourtwo about non cash transfers.....

Pork Sausage, gas pipeline and shellfish are also in there!

Looking forward to the start of the new season of EPL.

Man City vs. Blackburn will be interesting to watch. See if their money takes them somewhere...

Aston Villa will hopefully build from last season.

Had to post in here.... First game of season and all. Looks like Harry Rednapp might put us Yids in the top 4 this season. If all goes as well as Sunday.
