Monochrome fun! Took a walk along next to the train tracks between Huntingdale and Oakleigh stations. Here are some freshies:

Zero Hour, as promised at ridiculous o'clock on Sunday morning, here's my Mum's rockery with the tall cacti in full bloom. It only lasts a day, then they go back into their covers and fall off.

Object 1Box

As a child, a simple cardboard box could be hours of fun. Now it can be again. What story can you tell? What could be inside? Where has it come from? Will you tear it apart? With the 'Box' you can do anything - so long as you think outside it.

Object 2Balloon

Like all of the objects in photo5, a simple balloon has no meaning. So what meaning can you give it? Can you invoke innocence? Sadness? Or maybe joy? The story of a 'Balloon' can go anywhere. Or nowhere. It's entirely up to you.

Object 3Cellophane

Light seems the most obvious thing to play with here. So maybe you want to do something entirely different. Is it all about the way you see the world? Or how colour transforms a scene? However you see 'Cellophane', the challenge is to look at it in a way no one has before.

Object 4Dots

The 'Dots' can be anything from a curious pattern in the background of your photograph to the subject of your shot. You can add more dots, cut them up or put them on your finished shot. Like your old colouring books, the 'Dots' mean nothing until you find a way to join them.

Object 5Chalk

Is it as simple as drawing a picture and taking a shot? It could be. Or maybe you want to grind it up into dust, or leave a cryptic message for someone unknown. Is there a story behind this simple piece of chalk? If so, it's up to you to tell it.
