Being brad new to Mac`s, just a question regarding what peeps use to record from turntable to mac?
does mac have sound forge , is garage band able to do it?

i record into Live
garage band would do it too

No SoundForge or Wavelab on teh Mac.

Peak (decent)
AudioFinder (a bit irritating)
Audacity (free)
Wave Editor (which, despite the unimaginative title, is apparently quite good).
