how can they put such a sublime act in a tin shed?
nothing will ever compare to the hamer hall experience a couple of years ago. heaven.
would love to have gone to this, but going away the weekend. :(

Hamer hall was amazing! So was seeing em in the garden of a mansion in the middle of the countryside in Italy :) We nearly got to hang out with the band after the show in the mansion but we got screwed over by an Icelandic hippie and had to sleep outside in a field.

I'm happy with that. They played lots of old favourites (which must mean I'm getting old) and the horn section was a nice surprise. Festival Hall was certainly shit, as I'd been told it was. What a crappy venue indeed. But ultimately it didn't ruin the show for me. It's pretty hard to ruin a set like that.

So this year I've seen Bjork, Mum and now Sigur Ros. Not a bad run.

they were fucking astounding at splendour. gob smacks inside the ride.

go and see them. life changing experience for real.
