Very nice Mrlob! Loves graff!
Also I have done one item of the Canon Photo 5, the Ribbon.
Doing the bubbles with a help of a friend.
Ideas down for crayon & cocktail umbrella.
Also stumped on the tea light candle.

Re: The Photo Thread (Post yours here)
A new idea i'm working on...
My initial idea for this set is 'earning a buck'. The idea stems from a few areas but has mostly been triggered by 'car window washers' or 'kerb dogs'. It takes me as hard and dirty work, but one that demonstrates independance, initiative and says alot about some peoples fight for survival.
To me these people are earning a buck outside the normal scope of acceptable jobs.
Meet Wayne, who has been a 'kerb dog' for 23 years and the longest of all the 'kerb dogs' in Melbourne. Wayne has travelled all over Australia doing what he does best, cleaning your car windscreen better than your wipers can!
Wayne does this a few hours a day to get money for his children's nappys and milk and a few drinks for himself to take the edge and grime away.
In the course of his work, Wayne has been stabbed, threatened, chased and beaten from behind.
Wayne's fondest memory is of receiving a $670.00 tip from one of Melbourne's richest property developers.
Spare a thought for Wayne and his cohorts as they work the lights for your spare change...
Rob
PS: Stay tuned for more in this series...

Wicked work Rob!
Re: The Photo Thread (Post yours here)
rob i think you can do much better
i dont really get any emotive feeling from your photos of wayne, your shots feel very distant apart from a few, you need to be close, intensify his facial features, show me the struggle!
this one, http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b75/m ... C_5082.jpg is the best of that set.

Re: The Photo Thread (Post yours here)
I appreciate and accept your comments nhd, however, I am not showing all the pics on this forum, just a taster and at the moment it is enough of a struggle to have wayne stand in one spot, let alone be photographed so closely. At the moment the idea is about placing wayne in his work environment and gaining his trust. stay tuned, much appreciated feedback though...nhd wrote:rob i think you can do much better
