well i think the rapid and massive increase in pronographic imagery in all works of life must have driven trends like this, and changed attitudes to what is normal in sex. 'the rise in raunch culture'.

That's not a valid explanation - pornography could still be just as rife today even if all the girls still sported '70s bush. It's a chicken and the egg scenario. Did porn influence fashion? Or did fashion influence porn? Who knows, in 30 years bush and moustaches may come back.

I'm not going to try and pretend i have the definitive view on this, aint gonna argue the point. Suffice to say i have read enough reports and references to studies to suggest to me that a) porn is more prevalent b) on the whole, its more hardcore and has more demeaning aspects (not in all pron obviously) and c) its influencing culture and some peoples attitudes to sex
