Club i have no idea and rave it was in altona with zinc, pascal and fats 2001 (i think), there was also heaps of candy raver shit there but i didn't pay any attention to it.

First rave was out in a little camping ground called Starlings Gap out in the yarra valley. Hoffman 2000s for my first acid experience when I was 17. Think Solaar at lounge was my first club night. Ahh the good ol' days!

I don't remember too much other than I had acid for the first time and everyone sounded like they where a jockey with a high pitched voice.

paranoid we would be checked for id, did the mushie mash and got into the acid and poppers.
lol. good times until the sun came up and we realised how rank the whole place was.
i'll never forget the smell of the burning foam throughout the night as people stubbed out their ciggies on the floor in the 'chill out room'.

Was lucky enough to attend Global Village, inlcuding Global Village shut down. Went to my first party at Dome around the same time. Must have been 1995 summer of 96? Around the same time started going to Filter, Pervayors and Big Bamboo once.

I think the first "rave" I went to was Welcome NYE with Loxy and Ink on the Docks.

Although I'd been to a few 33 1/3 parties @ POW (Freestylers etc) and BW shows prior.

prob started properly leaking into electronic tunes at BDO tbh- boiler room for a look-see and loved the vibe

first big rave fat boy slim at arena in bris- got trolleyed sideways, danced on stage all night. still sitting in valley mall mash lounge at 6am and was supposed to be at work at 7. fa1L but so worth it

docks raves were an era i'm so glad i knew. we had some crazy times down there- and also at the goods shed. proppa raving- welcome straight onto summadayze. lol filth.

Trans Atlantic @ Palis in St Kilda was my cherry. found the breaks room and loved it.

Then it just seemed like every weekend after that for a good 2 years wa spent in dodgy Altona. absolutley loved it when sean or 1lc would put on dnb in a sideroom at a rave.

loxy and ink was speacial too, such a bender so much rack i didnt know what to do with it all.

party called FUSE in adelaide...with HMC and dirty house crew aruond 1996
and saw my first melbourne shufflers too talc and all and was like WHOA WTF?

first outdoor party was small ones in melb in 97, and mt dissapointment earthcore and decided to move here...
first HUGE rave melb styles was hardware at docklands with jeff mills...
spent three days making art that we had to hang from the roof at last minute.

gosh what an awful place, but so mega ravey at the same time. loved it.

i remember the many muzzas very very well (i didnt even have a name for them back then :1 just knew they were disgusting), breaks 'room' in a hallway and drum n bass, was good.
a girl was bending over to do up her shoes on the dancefloor, i thought she was a stool and sat on her, crushing her into the floor whilst pinging really really hard. vivid memory.

good thread imo. i feel old rofl, would do again.

Actually, I think 'Gatecrasher' was my first... precursor to Welcome NYE.

Bukem & Conrad, De La Soul and Roni Size & Dynamite... much fun with good friends despite the best efforts of management.

I honestly can't recall (bad sign I guess). May have been Aphrodite and Mikey Finn at Capsule. Found out much later that my future ex boyfriend Paranoid Edge was sitting about four feet from me the whole time. First time I saw OneLc live after hearing him on Future Unknown for so long.

First proper party was Earthcore 1997. Attempted to go to one at Mercat hotel in 1996, but the guy I went with was taking his first acid trip and wigged out in the line to get in. They said he couldn't go in, so we had to leave.

First clubbing....hmmm...totally commercial, but I used to hit Redhead in Albert Park and Silvers in 1998. I even used to drink vodka with a raspberry mixer. WTF!

I just turned 18, gimme a friggin' break. Also went to Every Picture Tells a Story 1999, can't really remember a lot of it though! Fell out of clubbing around 2000-2003, but still listened to dance/electronic. Then frequented Arkitekture at Lounge after that a little bit whenever that was still around (pre-Out Of Order) days. Wow, my memory banks are really being tested!

Gatecrasher was my first rave - But it was the Wet (blue) tour in '99. Still think that album is one of the bestest ever cause it just brings back memories of first time out and proper wasted.

The Gatecrasher with Bukem and Roni etc was absolutely smashing - The vibe with 3000 people going nuts inside that tent was fuckin amazin'

First dnb gig was a Tekstep party with Fierce @ POD on Lil Bourke St. Smashing gig, I remember meeting some randoms and going back to their house, never saw them again - but one of the girls there was stupid hot I rememeber that much

that night was pretty crazy - I think that was with Warren G wasnt it?

Really liked that venue - as did all the crazy swordsman in Melbourne too taht ruined it.

LOL! i was at that one, and a few of the others mentioned on here

can't remember the name of the first one i went to back 98' but it was at Spencer Street Station, or nearby, in some huge warehouse.

My 1st dance party was NYE '94 @ this massive underground warehouse in Perth where I got massively chopped (1st time) and couldnt see or walk for about two hours

1st DnB party was Doc Scott n Nicky Blackmarket in '97 (can't remember venue). All I remember is walkin in n thinkin, this is dark!
