Hmmm not diggin the new prodigy tracks a great deal, i dunno, just not enough melody in it for me, too much BLAOW BLAOW REEEOW imo.
The experience was and still is one of my favourite albums, cheesy maybe, but damn it gets my head nodding.
I hope this new stuff goes well though, rather kids listening to this than alot of the other tripe out there and yeah will hopefully re-invigorate the
scene and give alot of people a new vibe/sound.

REAL RAVEY which was good. Invaders must die (the track) was a bit of a let down as expected, Omen was pretty tight though. Even had a dubsteppy track in there at one stage to slow it down a bit, might have been Dead Ken Beats off the new album? World's On Fire was alright too
As my GF said at one stage about Maxim "He's one angry bastard" - got a little annoying at times with the fuck this fuck that "my prodigy warriors" *but it kept the energy goin' I spose

Pendulum pretty damn decent actually, lots of jumping occurred there too, No vocoder to be heard. The MC was a bit annoying at times (OK I'm sounding like a broken record here, but seriously you know when an MC's good, and he wasn't).

Crowd loved Tarantula. Did a version of Voodoo People which went down alright also. Live synth was tasty, and for the couple of tracks where he left the synth and came up front to sing he sounded pretty good.

Good sound, the bass was almost on par with the leg-jelly-making system at Rainbow mainstage, even while Sneaky Sound System (shuddeR) were playing on the other stage beforehand.

I saw a live recording of Pendulum at this years BDO on cable yesterday
Absolute fucking cack
They aired four tunes, each one exact same key/time signature, exact same drum beat
MC looks like a bon jovi cover band reject and is quite shit pon the mic IMHO
My mate sent me a txt while he was watching them at BDO saying something along the lines of "what the fuck has happened to drum and bass?"
I replied by saying "drum and bass is fine, Pendulum are shit"
But all that said, the kids are absolutely loving it, so I'm probably just jaded
As for the new Prodigy choons, not digging them at all
IMO they aren't going to inject any new life into dnb
If you want cutting edge, check Icicle, Perez, Instra:Mental, DBridge, Seba, Klute and old Optical
In the meantime, as far as Prodigy goes, it's all about..................................

I couldn't work out what the lead singer was doing with his guitar though - looked more like he was triggering something rather that playing the guitar.
