I can understand the annoyance, it's kind of.. what's the word.. disrespectful? to come, spam for your gig, then leave, particularly when that gig is not really related to the topic of the board.
having said that though, heaps of people here are not just into beats (such as me), and I reckon I should be able to occasionally spam my band gigs here if I want to, even if we don't use any amen breaks. I guess the difference is that I would be doing so with the awareness that I couldn't push it, since it's technically not what the board is for. I think one post then leaving is pushing it, I think staying and occasionally posting something not beat related is not.
the question is, should these go in off-topic or music if they're not "beats" related technically?
