Rising Lantern is Melbourne’s ONLY Jungle Record Label. Run by brothers DJ Folklaw and Mshcode, they’re label has gained a world wide vinyl distribution deal and is supported by Heavy Hitters such as Bizzy B. They gunna be hitting the late night Wobble Massive with an onslaught of amen edit jungle dubplates. Plus, we have special guest ‘Melbourne’s First Lady of Drum ‘n’ Bass’ DJ Dust bringing the sounds of UK Funky to the Wobble Dancefloor. Plus of course DJ Cubist, AC23, Spinfx, Retsa, Wasp, Fraksha, Scotty Hinds and Harzee. So come down and support Melbourne Town. Hit up Rebel Sport and buy urself an airhorn and bring ya whistle. Word, The Night Owl is one of Melbourne's best underground nightspots by far.

Better than ya prissy fuckwit muzza securitossers at the majority of other venues... excellent bar staff who are more than willing to smile which leaves the vast majority of city venues in their wake...

the decor is unsurpassed. true representation of what Melbourne is really about

in fairness, it hasn't really changed much in a year, or in fact ever

tbh my main gripe with the night owl is that most of the bar staff are SHIT, half an hour or so to get a drink and they have no idea how to take an order while someone fumbles for change, etc.

anyway, this is a thread about wobble (which is tonight), not about whether or not the night owl is awesome ...

LOL... managed to survive 3 floods there now!
I still find it amusing!
The kids were well behaved this one (except for a little at the end)!!
Good to see so many older faces amongst the crowd... was really enjoyable for catch ups, talking utter shyte and having a mega jungle rinse near the end.
The line up was crazy, I think the bar staff and numbers were pretty good in light of the circumstances.. can't say i waited more than a minute to get a drink.
Rising Lantern. Folklaw is amazing some times!
Spin FX. thoroughly enjoyed as I did Retsa (from what I recall kinda).
Harz and Wasp did an exceptional job running tings.. and credit to the others.
Coming from a farm.... it didn't faze me too much!! :p
