we had a go in 1996/7 using a cordial bottle. used it too much and didn't realise that the metal aparatus had melted through the lid and was sitting at the bottom of the bucket (we kept trying to light it for a good 5 minutes afterwards wondering why it wasn't working)

also I left Melbourne after the best job/contract of my life finished with a broken leg and thought id live in Perth a while.
after being flown around the world in 5 star hotels etc etc the only job i could get immediately in perth was in the bong shop 'Joynt Venture'
there is learned lots of things - like Perth does a ROARING trade in piss clean stuff for miners.

i also learned about milk bongs - makes it smoother
and bongs with ice and special lugs so it stays in the chamber and cools the smoke etc

The brand is called Iolite Vaporizer...expensive at $220 deliverd but worth it.

I got mine direct from - http://www.my-iolite.com/products_sc.asp?sC_ID=42 (think their site is broken, didnt look that messy 4 weeks ago.)

They are a portable vaporizer no bigger than your hand. The mouthpiece is the white tipped thing. Basically that just slides off and you have a "cone" where you put your mary jane in, then you just slide the mouthpiece back on... when you slide it on it sort of has this heating element that heats the mary jane...fill it with butane gas, flick a switch so the element comes on and hey presto....it constantly heats to 190 degrees so it wont combust the weed just release the vapours.

I've been through two other vaporizers (non portable, sorta like the volcano ones, blew both up) and they are shit compared to this in my opinion.

The weed last's for ages, its odourless too and i have taken it to reastraunts, movies and even gigs, you can toke on it inside as it smokeless and odourless.

Tip - when a bouncer comes over and asks what the hell your doing, just hold it up to your ear and talk into it like a phone, its worked two times now in clubs.
