Yes but 90% of Australians would never touch them.

My Two Asian Kitchens?

I mean, I like the idea, but I don't think Steve the Bricklayer from Dandy will.

i doubt Steve the bricklayer would buy that many cook books. i don't buy cook books, maybe as a present for someone who really loves cooking, but that is about it

who is the market for cook books?

i been watching it this week, and i wants Adam to win fo shizzle!

Claire i didn't mind but glad she got the boot.
Callum is a little too whimpy and not very consistent me thinks.

yeah adam seemed like a great bloke so good on him.

on the other hand he is a lawyer and i could think of ppl who need a hundred grand more...

on that basis it woulda been good to see callum win but he got a pretty darn good second prize

hhmmmm

i do not think the junior one is any worse then the adult one..... why so negative about it?

My nephew is 13 and cooks entire meals for the family from scratch, they are 6 in that house... So there are PLENTY of young kids out there with a passion to cook... better then sitting around infront of video games....

Yeah but you do not just get $100K just in your bank it has to go towards your food dream does it not?

Besides looking at it like that, um Callum came from a house where BOTH parents were cooks, and did cooking schools, so personally in light of that he should have been better than he was, 20 years old or not, he has grown up around food... So really he should have been way ahead of all in that comp with a life of growing up around food and cooking...

I think huge is only against junior master chef due to fear of being beaten at cooking by < 12 years old.

its just
a) the tv aspect - making millions in advertising off the ratings
b) therefore it seems exploitative
c) they're not going to have a 'career' out of it like the adults at least not for a long time
d) they're little pricks/freaks for being able to cook that good lol
e) handee ultra the world's most absorbent paper towel

well advertising will happen come what may, so to me it is not any more expolitive than the adult version.
And no they will not get a career for a long time, but it will keep the fires of cooking burning in them and lets all hope introduce other young ones to the value of good fresh food, esp when so many are raised in Macca's and the like.....

This. Im a little lost as to what to watch now. I didnt feel i was being a TOTAL couch potato when this was on, could give the excuse i was learning new stuff and new receipes, whilst practising my slobbing technique. Happy with the result cos Callam really didnt NEED to win. As shown by the job offer. So now they both win I reckon. (how hot was adam's girlfriend, jesus)

Wont be watching the jnrs and i will admit why. I dont wanna see kids doing things better than I could. Some of that food on that ad just looked amazing! kids shit me at the best of times, so i cant see this being any different for me.

Id like to see an Adam and Poh show... minus the weird egg things. :?

And i will be buying his cookbook too. didnt get Julie's, not a lot of interest there, but his, im well up for it.
