I think he means in terms of data processing..men see things simply.. like one and zeros - blacks and whites whereas women tend to mix up all different aspects into whatever they are processing just like analogue with various tones and underlying themes..where everything is interlinked. men look at the here and now, past experience has no bearing on current subjects..

WARNING! GENERALISATIONS AHEAD!!!!

Women are all about feeling and warmth, like vinyl records. Vinyl is warmer and fuller than a digital recording.

Men are based on simple logic and numbers. there's little clouding by feeling as long as there's a system of rules and numbers that are followed correctly. ie. 2+2=4.

There's a Henry Rollins bit where he pretty much sums it up perfectly. I'll find it later.

dan - funny, but totes not the case with these women. I have never fought with other women over men. learned that one by accident very early on.
they seem jealous of my friendships, of my life, yet veil it with supportive 'sista' talk that feels like the embodiment of 'frenemy'. over it.
there is women in my life who i have been close with for years, and never had this crap. a handful!
the rest are shitting me and i dont trust em as far as i can throw em!

women make awesome friends though...plus my female friends are generally more intelligent and honest about their feelings in a way that blokes very rarely are.

The most headstrong women I know, including my wife, often bang heads with other women. Its just like two alpha males clashing horns.

The secret to making relationships work between two people both like that, in my experience, is acceptance and compromise.

you have to assume they have no agenda... being paranoid about people having one only forces you to second guess everything - its very tiring.

its all about taking things at face value. if someone says they're happy - they're happy. they're not pretending to be happy because blah blah blah.

BTW if I'm attempting to psycho-analyse (like now) please nod your head sagely and pretend like your listening. :brohugs:

Maybe when left to their own devices. Apply pressure, and the 'reason' and 'logic' may stay, but the 'followed correctly' is out the fucken window.

Heh, women be damned - I just end up trying to out-alpha-male the alpha males :angel11:

Don't seem to have problems with teh birdz. I think mebbe they don't register me as a threat? Admittedly, I would be much more likely to try to outsmart and/or kick the arse of their bf than try to steal...

 And I wonder why these things don't work out for me?? :special:

I know, its harrowing tbh.

Why does bad shit happen to the best people?

the worst thing is, none of them are ever going to be totally better. they have to live with this shit for the rest of their lives.
