Hello Melbourne Beats!

My name is Amanda and I am a drum and bass DJ from Toronto. I have been playing in Toronto and elsewhere for about the past 7 years and go by the name of Lucy Ford.

I have plans to visit Melbourne in June and was hoping to get in touch with some Melbourne promoters to see what's going on/who is throwing events, etc. I'd love to play in Australia and would be interested in at least sending out my demos.

A good price?

Yeah, like I'm open to negotiate. $100 (is what I normally charge at home for an hour), $75, $50, some drink tickets. I am more interested in the experience, so I'm willing to discuss it if any promoters are on a budget.

Ouch. I've been having things hosted by my good friend Tim (DJ Opel) and if some of his link aren't working, that's NOT GOOD and I'm sure he'd like to know. I'll let him know so he can sort out his own shit and I'll continue to work on lucyford.ca (in progress) so I don't have to rely on other people's hosting anymore. For now, please, try to focus on the links I provided (which should all be working) and not on his... he's obviously got other things on the go at the moment and his website isn't a priority.
