ive seen that happen at the spiegletent. hopefully it comes again this year, definitely worth checking out.

I've always wondered what would happen if you went to some ghey club, you know the kind that dickhead plebs go to, and when they are all wasted come like 2 am, and starting to get a bit energetic, and the dancefloor is packed with wankers, what would happen if you dropped some nasty Tech on their ass? Would they all get scared? I guess a handful of totaly munted fuckers would prolly reach the next level for about 5 minuets untill they couldnt handle the heat.

I daresay they would start throwing things at the DJ. I know because I'm from a country town and I've seen it happen.

Word on the Hi Fi. Personally my ideal for that joint would be to open the windows at the top, allow smoking up there, add in a pool table in the back corner (top bar), and bobs-your-uncle wikkid venue! oh yeah, and air-con fixed

its weird, back in the days at hip hop gigs in melbs there'd be breaking circles on the regular. havent seen much of them since 2002 though. i think all the heads that did it got too old and injured.

I'd like to see a medium sized venue that has a wikid floor vibe AND an MC/DJ friendly set-up (ie u can hear what's going on without having to step out onto the dance floor)... or a place wit wikid sound that has a good vibe for the heads attending... For whatever reason the two just don't seem to come together that often (although sometimes they do, so i guess i'm posting in the wrong thread

)....... strange considering there are soooooo many venues in Melbourne that "showcase" electronic music..... Always compromises one way or the other.... sigh......

I'd like to see a dinosaur breakin against a platypus too! Boh!

again, i havent been to one since 2002, but back then on tuesday nights thered be heaps of crew at the state library - breaking and emcee battles out the front, and at melbourne central station.

anyone know if this still ever happens?

I've seen a few breakin' circles at gigs like Grandmaster Flash (Grandma who?

), Afrika Bambaataa and I think there was one at DJ Kool Herc, maybe...

Also at Q-bert, that was pretty awesome. I think at a few other gigs too, so it's still happening.

I'd like to see less munted peeps, but that's just a pipe dream...

A club that serves fried cheese would be WICKED!!!

Perhaps should check out some of the eastern european clubs where it seems there is heaps more girls than boys.

Read the other day that in Russia there is something like 80 men for every 100 women.......wicked.

OK can we like breed more girls using modern tech? I mean come on...they are much more attractive than us, can multi-task, etc.

I mean we have women to thank for civillisation (or whatever you may call it) cause while the men were running round hunting for shit, women stayed put and where in charge of the nomadic villages. If not for women men would never have settled down to make a society.
