FRACTURED presents FUTURE FUNK SQUAD (UK) - AUS DAY EVE TUES

Post by Feigan »

Glen Nicholls (aka Future Funk Squad) has been producing a whole range of musical styles for the past 10 years and as FFS has remixed many acts including the likes of.....Sia, Moloko, Lamb, Rob Dougan, George, Mint Royale and many underground acts.

He has also been rather busy with his 3 breakbeat labels....en:vision, Re:connect & Default which have spawned such great acts such as......C83, Kraymon, Madam Breaks, D-Pimp and has featured remixes from the likes of....EK, Elite Force, Phantom Beats, Christian J and many more!!

Hot of the heels of his two most recent remixes, Mylo 'Drop The Pressure' and The Prodigy' 'Spitfire'! Glen 'Future Funk Squad' is definitely set for big things in 2005!!

With his Debut album 'Audio Damage' dropping in the summer, the FFS live show will be touring all across europe and appearing at all the major festivals alongside big acts such as... Groove Amada, The Prodigy, Underworld, The Streets and many more!!

Glen will also be touring his DJ sets throughout Australia, US, Canada, Japan and parts of Europe so FFS is gonna be worldwide!!

+ PHIL K / BLUEPRINT LIVE / LYNT THAYER / FEIGAN

given that it's an inanimate object I'd have to wonder at your mental state if I saw you arguing with $10 :P

ahahahahah

reminds me of an exhibition I went to at the Powerhouse museum yesterday called Eavesdrop - one of the "scenes" featured a guy arguing with a dummy..."I can't believe you can treat me this way - and you just sit there in silence!"

anyway... [/hijack]

Aquatarian hey ... I never could get the hang of seafood, can only stand basic fish. Don't know if I could stand a diet with much seafood in it, though it'd probably be uber healthy.

PS: so can't wait for this gig, hurry up home-time! =P

Gotta say, it was a top night out! Just the right crowd size, brilliant tunes, fantastic venue as always....and a few surprises to boot :). Blueprint seems to be getting better with every gig, and Glenn (FFS) is a superb bloke who played some wicked tracks, his recent remixes of Spitfire and Drop The Pressue, Rocker (?), You're Not Alone etc. were all played out and brought some massive dancefloor action! And I'm pretty convinced that Lynt just loves to play Evil Nine stuff :). Props to BRB, DBoy, G, and Glen (the other one) for making my night far more entertaining than it already was...you boys know how to drink!

I must say, Blueprint blew me away; I tip my hat to you sir. I love the live talent around Melbourne, such a pickup for the scene. I had a great night despite the heat - fantastic music, congrats to the Fractured crew.

apologies for the trashiness

was very blurry, but still had lots of fun!!

come to think of it, the only thing i do remember is finding a nice quiet spot near the bar and G screaming "your letting down the whole EU, wake the fuck up"!
