when i find where i've stored them i'll put up some others that are better. i've been staging shots at the elizabeth st entry of melb central every night for the last 2 months, they're from that series
i like the balance as is but the dotcom cafe sign could definitely gonhd wrote:yup the third photo is great!
would be worth cropping it to a medium format to get rid of the white on the right side.

i'll show off my mad construction skills as well as some photos.
i built myself a quadbox since I had 4x12" speakers anyway, so total cost was about $50.
stage 1 - the basic box
stage 2 - paint the face black
stage 3 - speaker cloth over the front
stage 4 - covered with black vinyl. that guitar is my main one in the band.
just needs metal corners, which will be done in next week or two.
for anyone interested, the band plays metal, and we tune to Drop D.
the rack units - Behinger V-Amp Pro, Samson 240W stereo power amp. the quad is wired as stereo as well.
and finally, my house
not as arty as most of your photos, but hey, i feel like sharing.

In this picture, retired DJ Ben "I am not DJ Awesome" Shepherd, and Nick " I forgot I lended you that record, Hibbert.." Thayer attempt to imitate their idol Adam Freeland with a blinding combo set at the GB on Saturday night. Their mixing was so tight, hell they didn't even need headphones .
Our very own 10.15 takes to the wheels of steel at the GB and adding his own effects to the records by dropping cigarette ash all over them...
Can't post a photo thread making fun of other people without poking fun at myself... Well known rock star (in his own mind) Zerotonine, gives up the horns at the camera joined by one of his entourage ADD_boy, who was feeding him drinks and illicit substances all night. Z29 is fucking metal!
Okay, so this whole post was just an excuse to show that Sheperdo+Thayerski pic...classic [/img]
Allons-y!
