Its not a matter of being elitist, they are doing a small run because no one would distribute for them, do not suddenly call something elete because its not as mainstream as breakbeat koas and the like.

Apparently Tuesday they're goin to anounce a replacement tune for the Desolation RMX but I thought it was going to be bout 6-8 weeks till the tunes arive(which is how i read the delivery times) anway and this still stands.
Just think, in 6-8 weeks time you will have forgotten you purchased a Armada LP, and then it will turn up on your doorstep. It would be a nice suprise I imagine.
from what I know of the biz - the profit on 500 copies is sooooo minimal - it's BBE - barely breaking even. the general rule is that the first 350 vinyls covers your costs, so they'd be clearing profit only on 150 copies. no distributor means a slightly better cut of profit, but we're talking a profit of only hundreds of dollars, not thousands. strictly love, not money.

i was sayin no respect should be giving to a label who says there gonna press a tune and they dont and dont give teebee any cash at all. and that i feel coz its the so-called neurofunk (i personally fucking hate sub genre only people.) u were comin across about the love n shit like its the best coz of limited presssings.....when its been done, and they aint first to do 500 pressings.

true, but you can always get rid of 500 copies of a record. it also means that you've got the masters ready to cut another run, if needed and the demand is there.
