Arrived just after two from work, really enjoyed listening to Cubist and then some of Johnny Hooves before having to head home to bed. There was some mad dancing going on!

This party is such a good concept, it's great to see locals up there ripping it up with some of their own material. Hopefully I don't miss the breaks guys next time.

I'm going to be honest here, but upon arriving catching some breaks, the sound was absolutely shocking. Sorry but it was way too disorted it was litherally making my stomach churn and my head pound. So did not enjoy it that much.
But it was good to see a few peeps that I haven't seen for awhile, place seemed to be vibing.
Caught some of Valuetime's set which was cool.
But I couldn't last as my head was hurting.

thanks to everyone who came down.

highlight for me was karl; really impressed with your tunes, mate. i'd heard a couple before, but not cranked in their natural environment. nicely.

had great fun on the decks despite being really tired and flat all day. once again i faded at about 3 after cubist and missed johnny and erin. sorry guys.

looking forward to ll4...

that's a rework on the old junglist joke, innit:

10 - 1 to change it and 9 to say how much better the original was.

Was a wicked night. I've never seen Bunker vibing so hard. Big thanks to all the DJ's plus MC Wasp. And a special big thanks to all that made it down. Everyone who came down made the night what it was. Thankyou.

Looking forward to Local Lineup IV. So happy to see Melbourne supporting their local scene so hard. It's what it's all about IMO. Local DJ's playing local tunes and rinsing it hard and proper like last night. If you weren't there you really did miss out. Photos would be great anyone!

BOH!

Had a wicked time playing there.
Really good to see Melbourne's talent shining like that. Everyone was having a great time.
I was sorry I had to leave so early, but I was just shagged. Had been battling my computer all day, and it had beaten me.

Got to the club, started playing, and was all good though. :D

Was a weird situation though - my dancefloor started down the dunny end of the club. (20 or so people rocking out beyond my vision  )
So I couldn't see who was playing to, but there were a fair few people digging the breaks, and I was pretty happy about that.
I've played that bar over a dozen times, and I've never seen that happen - must've been where all the breaks heads were. :D

All got going normally half way through though, and I had a ball.
Played hard, so a few junglists could see what us hard breaks DJ's do.
Even played some breaks tunes with 'Amens' in them. Pulled from the back of the box. 8)

Will be back at the next one - as a punter - and am pretty stoked about playing two in a row. :smt023

You got a good gig going there Eden. Good work son. 8)

Recomendations for up and comers making good breaks at the moment, for future reference - Snowie, Easy H, Luko, and Ferris. All these boys can mix too, and are names to look out for in the future.

Thanx heaps guys. Good to be amongst such a nice bunch of people, and even better to see all my best mates down there. 8)

See you at the next one! 8)

For the limited time I was there I really enjoyed myself. Bunker has a great vibe, reminding me very much of Double O in its heydey.

Lucas was quality as always, such emotional content in the music and a great way to start the night. Was great to be able to hear Karl drop his own productions, lots of deep breaks and beautiful sounds. Hearing that Meat Katie remix of Reign again made me extremely happy. Was also a pleasure hearing Evil again and to hear the progression in the quality of each track. Yesterday's Zero is sounding better with every listen mate!

Big ups to all the usual suspects for shits and giggles and big ups to Cubist and co for putting on what is quickly becoming a must attend event. There's something to be said about watching local producers play their own music that sets LL apart.

Thanx GM - Learning to produce has been a thankless task, up until the last few weeks. Been at it almost two years now, and am only just coming into my own.
Makes me appreciate guys like Cubist, Spherix and Johnny Hooves, who are masters of their craft production-wise, and inspires me to move onward and upward. I learn heaps at a night like this, and I'm sure any newbie producer would.
Again, great night.
Stoked about it actually. 8)
See you all soon. :D

great party cubist, loved it.

Good to hear evil pushing some toughbreaks (Backdraft especially)! Yesterdays Zero is sounding really good on big speakers. Lynt had some really nice sounds coming out as well.

Loved the dnb later pon but didnt couldnt pick anyone out. Id really like to hear some dnb earlier on at some stage, to break thigns up a bit through the nightl
Wasp is a man of stamina! Keptthings going all night.

You can't go past Backdraft. :smt023
Probably the most under-rated outfit in breaks today, or ever.
If they released more often, they'd be the kings of breaks.
I can't think of one Backdraft tune I've ever heard that I haven't liked.
And their earliest stuff on Botchit & Scarper still puts a tingle up my spine when I hear it. 8)

Thanx for jumping on at the end of my set the other night too Waspy. Always good to see you mate. :D

Yeps, another good fun night, although not necessarily clean.. drank waaaaay too much and hurt badly Sunday for my efforts.

Such a good night though. I love Bunker and have had a ball at every LL so far. Great concept. Big ups to all the platter spinners for mad tunes. Big ups the Melb punters for their support of quality local talent. And big ups the coldest beer and most polite bar staff around.

I have some pics. Will post em up tomorrow.
