Big ups Pieta! You know doubt know the shitty side effects of quitting, but you also know that shit don't last. You can do it!mixtress wrote:Biggin' up myself today. Quit smoking pot...again. It's been 4 long days and although that don't sound like much, when you're a 24/7 smoker it's a big deal.
Big downs to the lack of sleep, frothy mouth (no more drys), anxiety, psychotic behaviour (baaaad), paranoia, depression, inability to deal with stress and the usual coming down stuff.
I will endure.

im in the same boat mix, except im 2 weeks into it. no where near as hard as i rememberd it to be and you know ive been smoking 24/7 since i was 15 or 16 with just a few breaks in between. Its all about having your head in the right space. Dont think about it too much, keep yourself occupied. Only help i needed is a couple of beers after work to relax then half a tamaze to get to sleep and i trained myself to do it in 3 nights. Smoking cigs also helps as youd still crave nicotine. One vice at a time. Dreams are running red hot tho! used to them now.mixtress wrote:many thanks to my favourite mb.c gentlemen. Onward and upward as they say.
Sleeping pill at the ready
herbal tea with sage (for cool and often prophetic dreaming), chamomile (to send me off to la la land), st johns wort (eases depression and soothes for sleep) and some lemon balm flakes (for the cough)
and if all that fails I also have access to some Tanquerary No.10. Tonight I be going down the sleepy road in style my friends![]()
maybe I shouldn't have used the Mr Green emoticon for that last one
Thanks sweetnessFents wrote:im in the same boat mix, except im 2 weeks into it. no where near as hard as i rememberd it to be and you know ive been smoking 24/7 since i was 15 or 16 with just a few breaks in between. Thanks Fents, that was amazing beer, Taz is much more of a beer fiend than me and she is certain that was the best beer she'd ever consumed, and she was straight as! Not like her husband.....more like what we rolled!Fents wrote:oh and biggups cj, taz and the cutest lilly! had most fun on sat night.
