Thanks GK and Fents :D

Feeling much better today. Sunny day, gig mission happening and finding out we dodged a bullet on our own gig falling through. Win.

What a cuntbag :x

Fuckface from work just came back from Hong Kong with the flu. A Hong Kong flu that none of us in the office have antibodies for. I tried to avoid him but he coughed and spluttered all over everyone and evrything and now I've woken up with my throat almost completely closed and very red and swollen, my ears are blocked as hell and the worst part is that I can't afford to take any more time off.

Had major plans for this weekend and I might have to cancel everything cause I'm RESPONSIBLE enough not to infect others with this crap. And my poor 63 year old mother is likely to catch it too.

Fuck I'm so mad right now  No one has the right to affect my fucking health like this :(

Dang... just got sent this small video file entitled "Speed Cooking".

Some Chinese cooking comp/fetival type thing by the looks of it where they quickly prepare snake salad so that the snake pieces are still wriggling... THEN, they scale, cut, deep fry and dress a fish - holding it's head all the while, so that it's still breathing on the plate.

I know it's a cultural thing. It's also an asshole thing IMO.

Q: What's the best thing about putting in 50 job applications?
A: Getting 50 knock backs.

Two of the jobs I really wanted have gone in as many days. Ain't much left on the table and none are likely :(

Will be lucky if I get a 9 month extension to the shitheap of a job I've got now...

Can't find the weird dream thread so this one goes into gripies.

Had a dream two Asian dudes were trying to kill me, very evil fuckers who were trying to trick my friends into telling them where I was hiding. I managed to get into a car to get away but they tried to carjack me. Guns and all. Then I'm at home watching my house in the dark from across the street and they turn up with a bunch of European guys and to avoid getting my family hurt I call them over to me. They come over all friendly like but I know the minute I fuck up what I'm saying I'm going to be raped and killed. I'm cool as a cucumber trying to pretend I'm not who they want and I don't have the information they're looking for (don't even know what it is actually). I remember looking at them all individually, all very Croatian, Greek, French and Asian looking, not one Anglo in the place. Very odd. I think it relates to my feeling toward the cuntface who gave me his flu.

Anyways, I'm now driving in my old van and Samuel L Jackson is sitting behind me with a handgun to my head getting sooo agitated that I'm not telling him where the stash is. Don't know WHAT the stash is. He's sooo mad with me, I feel I'm going to get my head blown off any minute and again I'm having to be super cool and relaxed while I'm scared to death. I tell him what he's after is under my drivers seat and if he would just press the release button he could have it and be on his way but he can't seem to function it. I beg him to let me try and after about 5 full minutes of this he agrees but says if I fuck him over, that's it...bang. I reach for the leave and can't find it. Can't remember how to release the chair cause I'm so scared but he doesn't believe me and thinks I'm bullshitting him and he pulls the trigger.

That was awful :?

glad you're on the mend Steve :)

Thanks guys. Been watering and bi-carbing all day tbh.

I have bigger fish to fry now though...the stupid fuckhead company I work for just let me go. They literally don't have the money to pay me for a single day more. They're on credit hold with every supplier, can't buy in stock so there's nothing to sell. I hope the building burns down.

If anyone knows of a position going, hit me a PM.
