once you give medicare your account details your doc can process it straight away so you don't have to go to the office.
i couldn't give a rats if i have to go and sit for 10 mins to get my rebate if it means i get free healthcare tbh.

no I think its good its free but its not most of the time.
the doctors tend to charge more than the medicare subsidy, aren't regulated, and can increase their fees ad hoc.
either its private and doctors can charge what they want or its government funded and they all charge the same.
medicare appears to float somewhere between the two which I think is wrong.

Also, finished de-fleshing a massive skull and its vertebrae last night while watching a whale dissection. Skull is creamy-white and ready for the bookshelf.
Finally, Massive Ups to my boy giving me a dead wombat for Easter. We're going up to pick it up soon. Can't wait to clean it up and put the bones back together again (and massive ups to Julia for taking the time out to teach me how to do all this taxidermy shit).
