2 lovely young men offered me their seats on an incredibly crowded tram - they could clearly see i was being pushed from pillar to post in my heels and kindly gave up their seat.. THANKS
To the guys in Dan's last night who was in front of me in the q with 6 - 8 bottles and saw i had only 1 so said i could go in front of him with my single bottle
Thanks guys! Simple nice gestures that really made my day....

once you give medicare your account details your doc can process it straight away so you don't have to go to the office.youthful_implants wrote:dont you think its kind of retarded that you have to go the medicare office to GET your rebate?witty_pseudonym wrote:BU medicare

the doctors tend to charge more than the medicare subsidy, aren't regulated, and can increase their fees ad hoc.
either its private and doctors can charge what they want or its government funded and they all charge the same.
medicare appears to float somewhere between the two which I think is wrong.
:edit: I apologise for this in the BU thread.

BU's my awesome doctor for signing me off for a week! I love her!!
catching the latest office lurgy after working one too many 16 hour days
+ being forced to work when running a temperature of up to 39 x 3 days
= acute case of step throat
= outraged and sympathetic doctor and a "Not Fit for Work" note (AWESOME!)
= a week of couch, ice lollies and DVD box sets.
And I have this to say to work: nyer

BUs my mate Julia fixed my skull fob necklace and has made me a second claw ring (this one without the insane bird leg so I can actually wear it without de-eyeballing myself lolz). Need to pick them up asap
Also, finished de-fleshing a massive skull and its vertebrae last night while watching a whale dissection. Skull is creamy-white and ready for the bookshelf.
Finally, Massive Ups to my boy giving me a dead wombat for Easter. We're going up to pick it up soon. Can't wait to clean it up and put the bones back together again (and massive ups to Julia for taking the time out to teach me how to do all this taxidermy shit).

I wanted to be a hero. I wanted to be the center of attention. I wanted the glory, I wanted the fame. I wanted the pretty girls to come up and say, "Hi, I see that you're good at Centipede."
