it depends if the being healthy was cutting into the time that you would be having fun / whatever it is that you like to do on the weekend..

because if it was... then in that case, doing that on work time would be better, because it would eat into work time...

kinda like..

chatting on an internet forum always seems more fun during the weekday.. yes? no? pudding?

On phone to Virgin Blue...

"Please be prepaired for unexpected long delays, we're sorry for the wait. We have all the staff we can find on call today to compensate for the unusual high volume of callers"

Tune while on hold...

"I've been waiting, I've been waiting so long for you...."

i appear to have gotten high on studying on the weekend - how geeky is that?! As in relatively euphoric, elevated pulse rate, time passing really quickly etc.. and all because my essay is all coming together nicely... I was "in the zone". Oh and the nice thing about it is I am not having a come down today!

Welll....

I have heard them called Jaffles before.... But I grew up in Adelaide and in Holland, where they were known as cheese toasties & een warme boterham met kaas.

yeah..
jaffle iron = clamps down sides. so it's all stuck like. possibly has a cutty bit in the middle for cutting.

a "toastie" although i never heard it called that before.. (up here they be "toasted sandwiches". because we need everything spelled out for us. damn sun does crazy things to peoples heads u know!)
anyway.. those are made with two big arsed flat metal doodads that heat up and u press them together and they become nice n hot and toast the sammich.. SAMMICH I TELL THEE!!

yep.. sammiches rock..
and.. for those who are visualy inclined..

Jaffle Iron:
Image

Sammich Toasterer:
Image

also.. jaffle is an australian term. therefore, in the way the world is going now. more and more australians are losing the term, and going for toasted sammich when it is quite obviously a jaffle...

we is losin ourselves we is!

but hey.. you gotta get lost to find your way somewhere new.. either that or have a compass.. but those are so boring!!!

jaffle iron is some gangster shit! New advances in language from the south seas has found the word Sammich sounds more G'd up as "Sammig" but then again, when i comes to food; anything to do with a BBQ has to have a G in it.

well at home we also just called them toasted sandwiches.

my parents were very literal like that. Ironically enough the only thing the didn't call a spade was a spade, which dad refused to recognise, because if it didn't exist he couldn't be forced to use it.

or ride a bike. which perhaps explains why a spade has never won the Tour De France.

I think David Spade tried once, but was kicked off the tour after testing positive to being a wanker.
