So I just read that in Kolkata at the moment it's 40 degrees + every day, not dropping below 28 at night, 96% humidity and they're gripped by a power crisis - so no electricity for much of the day.
OMG.

Not like 40 degrees here either. We get that raw hot, like in an oven. They get that wet hot, like inside a elephants arse who is in an oven.

Subject: Elephant Anus

Question ID: 571718

I went to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and was
resting on a bench behind the stuffed elephant in the main entry area.
From that vantage point I noticed that the elephant appeared to have
no anus. Is this appearance normal for elephants or did the
Smithsonian sanitize the view? I tried to do some research and read
something about an "anal flap", which I figured might just make the
elephant appear as it did at the Smithsonian. Could somebody tell me
if the elephant at the Smithsonian has been tampered with or not?

The guy with this blog noticed the same thing and provides a picture
of the view in question:

Yikes. I'd think that a live elephant with no exit port would soon
fill up with Dumbo dung. Wouldn't want to be nearby when the big fella
exploded.

It might have been tampered with

"In the interests of delicacy, Carmichael reportedly ordered the
elephant's anus sewn up"

loooll then you might end up like my boy PAT.
wore same jeans for 5 months (they tote blates were filth - bare rave juice all over)
went to work, but got caught in the rain and they turned all slime, slippery and stank. people asked what the smell was so he had to go home and change.
story of drity jeans, grate until it rains.

wash jeans when dirty, not before - otherwise they die.

You can also put them in the freezer, as recommended by Nudie Jeans.

If you use them a lot and wait at least six months before washing them, the jeans will get fabulous. The indigo will be worn off in places where you make natural creases. When you finally wash your well-worn jeans, the indigo will fade off and you will get contrasts in these places.
If you wash them too early the indigo just bleeds out over the whole garment and gives an even, dark indigo colour and the magic process is gone. If you need to remove stains before the first wash, do not use washing powder. Just rub with some water. If you need to get rid of smell hang them outside in damp weather or put them in the freezer.

After using your dry jeans for a long time, turn them inside out and wash in 40 or 60 degrees Celsius, higher temperature gives higher contrast. Stretch out the inseam when the jeans are still damp. Do not dry tumble. Let them dry hanging.

When you buy your jeans they probably fit perfectly. During your ”daily” wearing they stretch from the warmth of your body. When you wash them after six months they shrink all these ”stretched out” inches from your wearing them + the normal shrinkage. Some people feel they do not fit into the garment after wash, but if you try on your jeans while they are still damp they easily stretch and fit your body. Within an hour they are back to feel like your favourite again.
