avalon sucks arse! we've been out there once and didn't realise how much further out it was than tulla. very nearly missed the flight. on the return with jetstar delayed in sydney for 3 hours ON THE PLANE. they boarded us and then wouldn't let us off, no refreshments, no magazines - shit house.

i swore never to fly jetstar again but maybe i would for these prices :P

I flew to Japan on Jetstar.. seemed like a crazy idea at the time, but staff were very friendly, a bit young and inexperienced, the planes are refurbished and comfy, overall could recommend it.. for the bargain prices well worth it..

Then you just look for the Jetstar flights that DO leave from TULLAMARINE. I've flown J'star a few times to save $$ and never been to Avalon!

They do Melb to Hobart and Melb to NZ out of Tullamarine.

Look out for the embeded Insurance if your buying online. Its only $9 but its kinda tricky, you have to untick the box as opposed to ticking it if you DONT want it.

Its my company that does it so I know
