foam parties are terrific

Post by universal sea »

i went to my first last night at QBH as part of a ticketing/events/uni social networking company I'm involved with... it lived up to the hype. Thats the most fun ive had all year, and yes it did get pretty crazy. Mmmmmmmm

I talked to the guy who tours around national parties with the foam system, it's pricey shit, but so worth it.

anybody been to a foam party?

I want to go to foam parties every day now

ah well, I thought deviant was funny

there were a lot of dickheads last night doing the feeling up part and I talked to lots of ladies who complained of that. Then again, many chicks were off their head, bumping into everything, in bikinis no less. Walking through the middle pit to get to the stage was very tricky, slush and bodies everywhere. It smelled like oranges. My night became great upstairs when they played hip hop and rnb, and I was able to dance for the first time all year... other than the same dickheads without shirts on, kept trying to block any of the ladies from dancing with me, then it turned into a dance floor of topless guys who kept checking each other's pecs out, but were "hetero".

well and being flashed a few times outside was fun

so surreal the whole experience, i loved it.

foam parties are the devil.

i was traumatised after working at one that melb uni put on at the royal melbourne.

everyone was itchy and red and had stingy eyes by the end of the night, and the foam was the weirdest, wrongest texture by the time 1000 people had spent so long in it. the clean up was absolutely revolting with chuck and christ knows what else in amongst the filthy foamy slush.

found a bit of money though.

i would never EVER think of going to one after what i saw that night. :shudder:

last foam party i went to was the day i finished school (shhh - 10 years ago) at REDHEADS.

Was total madness, basically turned into an orgy from memory. Think Will E was playing.

Lol... I actually ran that party with some friends of mine... We did about 4 at Redhead from memory.. That breakup party was the most out of control one by far though... Cheap booze, 1400 kids who had just finished school + foam = good times!

it was definitely a be-there experience, the photos don't do it justice

rnb is gold compared to 4/4 commercial house and hits from the 80s. but i guess you have to know how to bump your ass to it, most of you on here are fairly straight edge when it comes to grinding

Sunno about straight edge on this forum.
speaking fro myself only, I'd have to say the only thing straight edge would be I can't consume whilst sleeping... and even that's not very often/
