we had 2, one retired then the other was made redundant due to the "economic crisis" yet the week after they spent thousand of dollars upgrading our office with new furniture, plasma TVs etc, all which were not really that neccessary.

Chilli? Is that anywhere near the Republic of Mayonaise?

:teef:

Yeah I got two crazy old men in my office. Actually, one is just scary (possible paedo, no teef).
The other guy (who is a lovely bloke) we're sure has had a nervous breakdown in the last few years. Jumpy as all getout, and just very odd.

I got heaps. We got the old Ausie, who spends all day every day wanting to go home and complaining about how lazy the rest of the world is.

We have the crazy Indian who is, just crazy. But smart! We have another guy who can talk backwards. ... FLUENTLY!!!

One who can barely talk at all cos he mumbles. One who is a little deviant. He takes the office chicks out in his flash car and we always assume he's going to rape them but he's just too small. They'd kick his ass.

UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!... Thats it.

Thats the crazy over 50 club. The under 45's is crazier, the 45 to 50 is just pathetic :D

is his name Michael by any chance, because there was a guy who went to my school, heavily into computers and sold computer stuff all throughout school who also did this, and beeped occasionally.

ZOMG, a thread made for me :D. For serial, tenure has a lot to answer for...

Basically, most people I work with are (at least) socially retarded. Many are referred to as 'eccentric'. There's one professor here who is paranoid schizophrenic. I don't think he's on meds, but self-medicates via a particularly vile brand of cigarillos. In fact, there is a full tobacco ban on campus, but he has a letter from his doctor saying he should be allowed to smoke them, as they help with the paranoia. Apparently.

Anyway, at some point before my time here, he truly excelled himself after he took a shine to one of the young, female lecturers. I think he did quite a lot of hanging around, following, writing of letters etc. She finally made a formal complaint when one of the said letters included the phrase "I want to roll you in butter and lick it off."

So, um, yeah. He's still here. Looks like a homeless man. Teaches undergrads. Has students in his office... :?

I am very disappointed I'm not allowed to go to Department meetings here, though. It's when they all get to have a crazy-off :D :D :D

i am the crazy office worker... in my new role, I'm the youngest in the team, and one of the younger in the office, but it didn't take long for all to meet the squirrel... i pounce and swipe all day long... everyone thinks i'm nuts (or on drugs) but its when I'm completely straight that I frollick about the most.
I kissed a squirrel and I liked it... taste of her acorn chapstick
