I need a store that doesn't just sell fucking ipods

Anyone? I'm looking at getting a new mass storage mp3 player that isn't an ipod. Anyone know a store that stocks other brands (ie. Cowon, Creative, Microsoft etc.)? I've been searching online but I can't find shit. Thank you please!

cowons are great but not big enough and the PMP's are overkill. the D2 however is pretty nice but only 16GB but you can get pretty huge micro SD cards for damn cheap nowdays.

check out the Creative Zen X-Fi (also sd expandable)

you could get a Zune 120 maybe but youd be buying from ebay as they aren't released here.

iphone 3g sounds shit as well, anything beyond a certain level (which isn't even very loud) clips horribly in the mids, and it doesn't deliver much sub either. oh well.

tried checking out go audio in melbourne central? they're just in that bit where you go in from swanston st towards the station, right before the escalators. they used to be my minidisc hookup back in the day.

Checked out their shit online. They got the Cowan A3 thingo i'm interested in, gonna go check it on the weekend.

Not terribly helpful but try http://www.citysoftware.com.au. If they don't have one in stock they can order it in for you, they do all sorts of brands besides apple but I don't know how big the capacity gets on those brands.
