Had a fuuuqed day at work recently. Issues wit EPA and dioxins and pulp mills and was OVER it. Got bailed up by stinking hippy on the way over the bridge at southbank and he tried to get me to give munny to the Australian Conservation Foundation. I told him that the environment sucked balls, no fucking way was I interested and he could get fucked.

Felt soooo good.

I am seriously thinking about quitting my job today.

Last September i requested a secondment to another division. I asked for the secondment because it was too political to request a complete transfer. The reason for the request is because i am currently not doing what i want to be doing and not doing what i am best at. The secondment was accepted despite a few delays and was planned to go ahead in July.

Today I was told that the secondment would not be going ahead and that i will be remaining in my current division.

I think it is time to rethink my life, career and future job prospects.

Oh thanks buddy!! Appreciate your assistance there, but ive fixed it.

I called the store back and told her that i was getting flung around more than ping pong ball and she needed to find out what was happening for me. Told if she didnt I would go postal,

told her I work in Insurance and this isnt how the customer is supposed to be treated and I would give her a chance to rectify it or I would lodge a formal complaint.

She called me back about an hour later, excellent. Cos it was being 'repaired' and I hadnt said that actual word, they got it wrong. FFS, being fixed means repaired numb nuts.

I try not to through around, I work in insurance crap, cos I hate it when people do that to me, but if they FAIL in the first instance of service, im get right into it and they generally respond.

What is the point of my job if:
- everything i do i have to explain it to you
-after every meeting i have i have to talk to you for half an hour about what was noted
-every report i write you rewrite it, you keep the content the same but just put it in your own words

Then you hammer me for going over budget. I go over budget becasue
-You are a cunt and dont allocate me enough time
-You take the majority of chargabel time wasting reworking stuff that doesn't need it
-I waste heaps of my time dealing with your micromanagement, when i have to read my notes to you it is a waste of my time i could be doing the actual work.

People at work here are starting to get peformance mangaged because our sales numbers are down along with getting tons of cancelation requests because we are more expensive than most our competetors but have fuck all to encourage our customers to stay.
