there's a big reason why you'd miss out though.Hatsudai wrote:The fact that I have to miss out on doing the visuals for the Mixologists next month cos I'll be in OZ (don't get me wrong looking forward to coming home BUT this would have been a wicked gig )

my gripe... having no electricity from the height of the storm on wednesday night until 8pm on saturday night.
we were stuck in the middle with no power and mixed messages between 2 uninformed twits, 1 helpful person and the got-attitude supervisor at the AGL call centre, the 2 electricians including our landlord who tried to fix stuff on our house, and the 4 Citipower crews that came to our house and did things like:
a) leave a live wire sitting there on our neighbours roof
b) issue our neighbours with a defect notice saying if their landlord doesnt fix the rotted facia on their house they wont restore our power next door. Plus they have 28 days to do it, before their power gets turned off (like ours already is)
c) come at 2 am and decide they couldnt fix the job because of something, and we dont know about it until we call the call centre idiots again
that was the 3 days from hell. i never want something like that to happen again. PLEASE GOD/HIGHER BEINGS/FATE!

thats it. they all had industrie on the wrong side of the collar, i guess thats why they have it turned up. so you can see what it is so you can go and buy it straight away.nic wrote:the favoured combo at the moment is the industrie baby pink polo paired with the industrie 'flaccid washed out camo cargoes' paired with white thongs and you are a real winner.
Kill them. Kill them all.
GOTD: Just can't seem to get on an even level with the ex. Ended up having a massive 2 hr argument/screaming match over the phone last nite which just ended in "that's the last straw, don't call me ever again".
I know that eventually one of us will pick up the phone, but I'm just so fucking sick of all the bullshit. It was supposed to be a clean break, why isn't it? Garrrrrr.

androygny is the new black kiddies..
and if you're truly in the know, it's not pink, it's salmon!
I'd like to take this opportunity to totally dis my neurotic, anal and overly mothering housemate who left me a two page letter on Friday night detailing exactly when to feed and give medicine to her equally neurotic dog and to ensure that the TV is left on channel 7 if I go out, "so the dog is not lonely".
Let's not even talk about the cleaning roster...

My flatmate's dog has a similar afflicition Ani, except it prefers to either take a dump on our bathroom floor or urinate all over my bed....
Next time it happens I am going to return the favour on it's doggie bed after a big night out...

ewww! I'm lucky enough to have a dog that knows not to do it in the house. Wish the rain would stop for a minute so she can venture out. The rain makes it easy to sleep... but it's meant to be summer!!! I have a new roomie from USA (arrived in the country yesterday) who came from snow to here, expecting sun. Pffft!!

Sorry witty, you know have an inkling of the extreme anger that is pushing me over the edge!
I too love the rain Ani, but there is something to be said for those balmy summer nights that we had for approx 5 days in January - I believe this now constitutes a Melbourne summer...

We are indeed Ani...
Another gripe: my office radio is stuck on Nova thanks to the blandorama music types I work with. Why do they insist on playing that insipid track "I can't wait for the weekend to begin" at 9.15am on a Monday morning and then at least another 3 times during the day?
Is this some kind of cruel torture technique or is their programme director a raving sadist with some kind of cruel vendetta against people who have enjoyed their weekend just a tad too much?
Maybe I need to breathe right now...
