probs not asthma then :P

hard to explain the feeling of an asthma attack to someone rly. deep breath but can only breathe at 5-10%. quite scary.

well i havent used an inhaler but at this stage, i reckon breathing is massively underrated.

^^ not even!

I reckon most people are (rightly) of the opinion that if you don't breath you will eventually die (after only about 3mins).

My dad taught me that if you are having serious trouble breathing having a little bit of pot can help cause it complete relaxes you which stops you from panicking so much so you are able to take very slow but shallow breaths a lot easier.

If the inhaler does nothing though it's def not from asthma I'd be getting that fucker checked out.
If it does happen again though try to stay sitting upright as much as possible and if possible sit in the bathroom and run the hot water to create steam and just take slow shallow breaths, deep breaths will only exacerbate the issue which in turn could cause you panic and then hyperventilate.

yer totes opposite of what i do to stop an attack and now im not usually the one panicking huhu. i usually hold my breath, seeing tho i can't breathe to start with it doesnt matter and it seems to work.

well i havent been able to breathe all day long.

phone calls are hard - they require the mouth to be used for something other than breathing.

feckin over it.

try to slow your breathing down.

focus on breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

if I dont have an inhaler and I have an asthma attack I can always make it easier by doing this.

Try covering your mouth till your vision goes fuzzy and you turn blue. It works. Honestly.

I would have thought so. I would think you would take a copy and then you're set, but evidently not.

Still investigating whether they did a backup prior to refresh that can be used or something similar

gripe to the $1,300 bill i copped to get a new trans for my car. so fucken pissed off about it, that money was going to buy my new washing machine, oh wells. i save again

and gripe to an old family friend in QLD passing away the other day. She passed away at work; she worked at the channel counter in DJs on the gold coast. She just collapsed and died. They are doing an autopsy to find out what the cause was. Her son is over in the UK at the moment. Whole thing is just terrible :(

Sorry to hear you are feeling that way Alex. Are you doing any exercise much? That is a good way to shake things up also: endorphins=improved mood. Yoga is a good one to try also as it works on a physical and mental level. And if you see any sunshine at all get out in it and get it on your forearms and tongue... is good for you and your mood.

I've just given up :D. I shoulda taken money off all the people who said "Oh, but Chicago will be soooo different." Have been going out, talking to peeps, been pleasant and charming and had precisely zero interest from anyone. Nfi tbh, but given past breathtaking retardation, it's not like I feel like I'm missing out on much :zenwhatevs:. At least I get to shake my head sagely at my hopelessly desperate housemate who makes a dick of himself by gawking like an ostrich with tourettes.
