the mobile theme feedback thread
there is a new behaviour in the mb.c forum specific to mobile devices now - specifically a 'mobile device friendly' theme.
please post any and all feedback you may have as a result of using this.

Re: the mobile theme feedback thread
Using it now. Not sure what to press to get to the newest post in the threads tho. Very simple layout which is good. Quick to load. Take a bit to get used to but I think is good Nice work!

Re: the mobile theme feedback thread
Love it (this post is from a mobi) but agree with Andy. Hard to get to the latest post. Ttan ended up on the first post. Few tweeks maybe but big up System, nice work.

Re: the mobile theme feedback thread
Reply and return to forum buttons at the bottom would also be good. Currently have to go all the way back to the top.
Re: the mobile theme feedback thread
but on the ipone all you need to do to go to the top is tap the bar at the top? at least thats how it works on my pone.

The view your last submitted button does not work after you post something.

Re: the mobile theme feedback thread
Forgive me for being retarded but how do we use the mobi version. I normally log on direct to the links in the reply thread thingy which takes me to what looks like a direct link to the normal site.
is there a special link I can go to or does the website pick up your are on a mobile and change itself for you???

Re: the mobile theme feedback thread
will do more work on the navigation - fair points raised. it'd currently be more difficult to give you the option to disable the theme.Lizkins wrote:is there a way to keep it like the previous version? not really liking this way. the theme gets loaded automatically if accessed via a mobile device. send me a pm with the details of the handset you're using if the functionality doesn't work for you.ctoafn_DMZ wrote:Forgive me for being retarded but how do we use the mobi version. Re: the mobile theme feedback thread
Hey Sys - i got through this morning (by going into "view active topics"). However, it flicked on to this screen that gave me the options to choose which forum i want to go into (like a text version of the listing page) but then flicked back to the other screen that gives you just Forums (which doesn't work, just reloads when i press it), View your posts, view active topics, view unanswered posts etc. Which i don't find very helpful.
Is this what everyone is seeing or just me?

Re: the mobile theme feedback thread
Something else I just noticed is no zoom function on iPhone and no copy / paste. Well you can paste in the text field when posting but can't copy from threads. Really need the view last post button and info of last post in thread to show also.

No search function anywhere. Trying really hard to find a specific thread. It's driving me nuts.

Re: the mobile theme feedback thread
Every time I scroll down it shoots back to the top!
Re: the mobile theme feedback thread
It shoots back up the top once it is completed loading. I just wait until it loads to save myself the grief. v. frustrating.
