Re: Soundcloud
just got a paid acct (solo, 79 euros) yesterday and its awesome
to be able to bang heaps of mixes up and not worry about links expiring etcetc, plus all the networking/following artists side of it
tis becoming the standard for sure

Re: Soundcloud
It's allright. The ability to comment on mixes or tracks using the clock/ time reference is greta.
I use reverbnation.com - its better for manaing fans etc.

Re: Soundcloud
well worth it, for a hosting solution for music par excellence.DBoy wrote:Who is on? Paid? Worth it?
that said, it's primarily a service/platform aimed and the musician for professional use - not as a myspace style thing for artist <-> fan interaction (a la reverbnation etc).
not really no. the feature set and api is superb.DBoy wrote:Anything else that compares? djmixes.com?

Re: Soundcloud
i'm not sure about that, its pretty easy to send people, be they artists or fans, a direct link to your track/mix. and the big orange play button is pretty hard to miss, and fails a lot less than shitty myspace players. plus download button/linkage is neverfail + easy!system wrote:well worth it, for a hosting solution for music par excellence.DBoy wrote:Who is on? Re: Soundcloud
just put /download after the track link (or copy link location from the download button same thing), and then u could turn that into a bit.ly or similar shortlink or whatever if u wantedctoafn_DMZ wrote:Im trialling the paid one, loving the site, easy to use and intuative.
