TAPES comes from the Jahtari stable in Leipzig, known for their digital workouts of dubbed out versions. TAPES has recently dropped his latest 12" called Hissing Theatricals, and it is getting some great reviews out there. You can grab his previous EP Compuriddims for Jahtari here. This is the first time any Jahtari artists have visited Australia, and TAPES promises a swag of digital goodness, from Jahtari dubplates to juicy digtal dancehall, all coming straight off cassette! That's right, vinyl-nerds... cassette!

His tunes on his releases sound a bit too tinny and lightweight but he certainly played a heavy dubwise set though the booming Heartical rig. Rumour is that he and some more Jahtari acts will be returning to Oz later in the year.
